Stayed here 4 years ago my car suffered £500 damage in the car park , management not really interested said cctv didn’t cover it not stayed since

The cushions are for decorative purposes only you don’t sleep on them! Most decent hotels etc have cushions on the bed which you remove before you get into bed.. sorry but throwing them against the floor like that is just stupid and annoying & where I stopped watching the video

Couldn't stay at this place mate toilet and shower room were a disgrace. Saw it on another video and they had fly tapes hanging down which would put me and they must have a fly problem there which wouldn't surprise me with the hygiene.

@travelwithrussell used to stay there a lot and was good but changed hands. Was getting very good reviews but look at trip adviser, loads of really bad ones recently. Last time I stayed there it was really bad and that was a couple of years ago. Much b a shocker now.

The company which owns the Lyndene also owned St Chads (the blank space on the next block). My understanding is that they were going to build a new hotel where St Chads was. Once that is opened, they will demolish the Lyndene and build a new hotel on that site as well. That was the plan around a year or two back but I am unsure if this has changed since.

@@johnmorton2832 yup 👍 not sure how cheap that was but rooms are expensive so the average price paid for a standard room is high, to be fair they later said as I was checking out if I want bath robes I just need to ask next time 👍
