Recently had a P0172 code on my 2009 buick lacrosse. So far we’ve ran throttle body cleaner through the fuel, cleaned off the MAP sensor, installed a new air filter, but the code keeps coming back with a check engine light. I had a mechanic work on the exhaust from the exhaust manifold back, even installing a new downstream O2 sensor. The issue is still there. Please help. UPDATE: since posting this I’ve been clearing the code whenever it comes up, and the car will run fine for 1-3 days before the codes come back and performance plummets again.

I keep getting this code and it does not make any sense at all. First off I have not driven the car anywhere close to 150mph ( which from what I understand is a typical set speed limit for some cars ) but my car doesn’t even have a speed limiter it is a 2013 gt500 and ford didn’t put the governor on the 13/14 models which makes it even more confusing . When the code first started it was P0297:00-68 but today the code was P0297:00-2F . The fact that it makes no sense at all is very frustrating 😖 . The car has 38k miles I already fixed the intercooler pump wiring problem the car had because of the voltage issues caused by the upgrade ford did for the 13/14 so that’s not a problem anymore . I am NOT taking it to dealer service they cause more problems than they fix. I at this point I’m looking for ideas to repair the issue . The car has a tune , pully and JLT CAI. The other 2 codes that it has are U0401:81-08 and C1B00:63-08. Car had the P0297 and U0401 codes before any of the work was done so that shouldn’t be the cause for these codes .

Along with all 4 - 02 sensors upstream and downstream.!. And I’m still showing a p0135, p0155, misfires on cylinders 1,3,4… I haven’t checked the fuel jets.!. Crankshaft is bottom of engine. The one you show on top of the engine is the Camshaft sensor.

Hello, thank you for your video first. I have this error code in my 2006 Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci. At uncertain intervals, while driving, the Eac Fail warning appears on the dashboard and the gas cuts off, but the engine does not stop. When the fault occurs, the gas cuts off and the engine does not respond. When the ignition is turned off and on, it returns to running condition. When connected to the computer, the P062B code always appears. Dozens of mechanics have tried dozens of methods to fix this malfunction. What has been done to my vehicle; ~2 different brains were tested by being installed, ~2 sets of injectors were tested by being installed, ~Injector system was completely redone (from the brain socket to the injector socket) ~Crankshaft sensor was replaced ~Brake master cylinder was replaced -Fuel pressure sensor was replaced -Brain sockets were checked ~Glow plugs were replaced ~EGR was disabled and tested Despite all these procedures, the problem still persists. Could you please suggest something to help me find out what the fault is? Thank you in advance.
