I wouldn't count on it. Most games on the Series S never got a 60fps patch. Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield are the big ones but beyond that, I can't think of many. I admire people who can play at that frame rate cause I just can't deal with it.

@cun7us personally i dont think the fps in kcd2 is even that bad, i can barely notice it also if you just play a 30fps game for a few days you will get used to it and it'll be like 60fps in ur head

@@elite4410 The last game played at 30fps was Daymare 1998 and it was a chore to begin with but yeah, I did kind of get used to it after a while. Eventually your eyes and brain adjust to it. I play on an OLED which makes 30fps feel really choppy, the difference between that and 60fps is night and day.

@@patrickphillips6550 not always but in same areas i watched the digital foundry benchemark before deciding where to buy the game i didnt used my ps5 since months since i play fc 25 on xbox and lately most of the recent game on the game pass were quality

@@patrickphillips6550 Hmm, frame drops are usually uniform on console as they're using the same code on the same hardware. It could be that you haven't reached the areas where they are yet. Both Xbox consoles are supposed to drop into the 40s in certain areas.

Consoles, as a whole, are outdated the moment they hit store shelves. Even the best consoles, at best, are mid-range PC parts put into a custom case. The Series S is still amazing bang for your buck, considering it's a sub-$300 gaming machine that still manages to run the latest games to a decent degree. The fact that it runs games like STALKER 2, Indiana Jones and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 as well as it does is pretty awesome, honestly. I have a fairly high end gaming PC, but I also game on a Series S. It often times blows me away what it manages in such a small form factor and cost. Devs have really stepped up and gone out of their way to optimize for the little guy, despite the fact that 75% of console sales tend to happen on Playstation.

@TheXboxTester wasn't expecting the man himself to reply but yes games on switch should be cheaper. Devs are also lazy. They got lazy over the years thinking it's OK to sell unfinished, bug ridden games. Games have always been not perfect at launch but hack in the day it was less so. Devs had to care qhen releasing a game there was no "lets patch it later". If a game is inferior on release conpared to other platforms yes they should indeed cost less. As for pc you can upgrade your parts am console your stuck with what's there and the game that release for it is what it is.

What utter nonsense, it’s not the developer’s fault the game has to be toned down on series S is it? so why should they be penalised for it by selling on series S at a lower cost?. If that was a thing, the price on PC would range from next to nothing to full price as the PC power range goes from rubbish to stellar. Here’s an idea, let’s not release on series S or Switch at all, problem solved right, the price question goes away, would that make you happy?

Define inferior, for that matter all games should be cheaper because only on a high end pc you can play a game to it's full intend. And like I said it's more work and a bigger achievement to make a high end game run on a slower system than a high end system. Actually games should cost more on a series s than a series x

For sure. For the price it's an amazing piece of hardware. I've been gaming for over 40 years and if there's one thing I've learned it's that fancy graphics don't make for a good game. Importantly it's the gameplay. Fun is more important than anything in my honest opinion

what if you change your perspective because of the s series, developers need to further optimize the games on the s series so that the series x, ps5 can run those games more stable aka easily 60 fps... imagine if they used a basic ps5/xbox series x for developer make the game, the game became 30 fps new standard on those consol, with more lack optimize from lazy developer

Yeah CP2077 60fps but looks​ blury, but when i switch to quality mode 30fps the graphic looks pretty good.@@cun7us
