@chanceharkey8610 between mt07 and mt09 ? Tons of difference. First off the tech in the mt09 is lightyears ahead of mt07 which has none other then abs. Power to weight also big difference. Top speed for sure and just overall everything. If you had to choose between the two. If price and insurance is not at issue, hands down go with mt09 ! I have a the 2024 mt09 review uploading live tomorrow at noon.

@ricklatouch2263 yes, to a certain point. See 4:40 in video. One side you'd have a hard door closure and the other side it's a curtain that is used with shower. So if it's loud noise then ide suggest turning on the ceiling fan to help drown the noise lol. It's still all a compact setup so there would be some compromise. Cheers and happy camping !

@aimanisahac top speed on this scoot is like 150km/h if that helps any. It's not bad ! 500cc for sure way more punch but this one does hold it's own. And lasts forever on a tank of fuel ! Best thing is find a way to try both of you can ! Good luck and regardless what you do, you'll have a blast either way.

@user-xn8sn6hq4m no, there is no immobliizer. That is only for, R1, MT10, FJR13 and the XTZ12,

You can customize highway pegs that if you can straight extend your legs all way out will extend the comfort range to a lot more than a hour, probably about 3 or 4 hours then you can simply make a 10 toc15 minutes stop for gas and go another 3 or 4 hours, couple the highway pegs with a nice lumbar support seat and you got a great touring bike, can get a nice hard case luggage set ,I've even seen folks pull trailers on xmax, u can get different weight rollers or sliders to make pulling a trailer less fatiguing on the motor

@FranciscoGarcia-vh2ye it's a low tone frequency hum to a whistle. The air flow around the bar to the roof causes turbulence and can become annoying especially if you're running a rag top ! Then you get buffeting on the canvas. The aerolids light cover works best for that. You'll mostly experience this at highway speeds

@joshcarey770 just make sure what you do for the back,.do in front you. If you can. I would suggest you shave the seat and learn to tippytoe instead of altering the suspension. You'll get used to the stopped hight.

It's not a super sport bike, so insurance should be cheap if your driving record is clean. For reference, for me, full coverage on a new mt09 is $49/month. It would be about 3x that amount for a R1

@str8slayn1 I'm guessing you're not in Ontario Canada ! Unfortunately so many riders are faced with outrageous insurance premiums to enjoy the motorcycle lifestyle!!!
