Hello, I have a problem. I started to change the anodes of my yamaha F60 four stroke 2005 engine and of the 5 4 they broke, removing them from how bad they were and the part of the anode that goes into the engine the pieces remained inside and I have no way to remove them since They fell inside and cannot be seen. What I can do ? It's no problem that they stay inside, does it affect the engine?

Thanks for the video. I didn't even know there were internal anodes until I viewed your video. My friends were equally shocked. I have a 50HP motor that has always been run in fresh (unsalted) water in Michigan, USA. Do the anodes wear in fresh water? The motor has almost 400 hours. When I pull them if they are OK, can I stick it back in? Am I being foolishly cheap by attempting to do so?
@damodoesall6240
@damodoesall6240 Жыл бұрын
Yes, freshwater will last but not forever. I would not re use them unless they are in very good condition, they just go crumbly and then block the passages inside the head thus blocking cooling water flow.
