Actually, S Balachander did a wonderful version on his veena. It's the recording with the Nataraja photo on it. I loved the way you sang the Sargam. Maybe a longer sargam recording, with a sargam of a song or a tune which we can also follow along with, might be helpful as well to help us learn the notes of this raga.

It should be kanja dalayatakshi not kancha. Kanja means lotus
