Thanks for the kind words Jaffa :) Probably a smart move by your sister or else GAS will take it ALL!! Yeh OBS and recording video does take the fun out of a quick jam... big reason why not posts for a while!!! Will be interesting to see you bang away on an electric drum kit :D Go for it!!

Hello mate sounding awesome! I’ll have a Perkins soon and a bunch of other gear. How are you routing your audio? Into a mixer or audio interface and then into the DAW? I’m considering a Push 3 because of the audio interface and ADAT. So can prepare more scenes etc. but still not sure, have Logic and just routing sounds via the Syntakt and Digitakt 2 into the Daw but really slow and annoying even with Overbride. Too much latency. Any advise will be very much welcomed!

hi mate. thanks for listening.i am routing everything into ableton via an audio interface. i only use the daw for recording and effects. all sequencing / playing is done using the hardware. honestly midi and audio latency is one of the worst things about this hobby lol.. its never perfect for me. good luck :D

Thanks mate, yeah my plan was just to record into Live via the Push 3, do most of the idea creation and closing creation within the external hardware boxes that I have. Push 3 and Live become my capture machines and can use as you do the Live effects either via macros or get an external midi controller also with faders.

@@fergusfurlong theres pros and cons to everything. eg: audio interface is compact. a mixer is hands on and has many channels and sends. a midi controller has faders where a push does not etc etc. no perfect solution just have to get as close as you can get to what you prefer. you could argue that all 4 options i mentioned are good to have :D

why your zen delay tempo button, whne in sync mode, flashes at tempo but not in regular fashion \2\4\\8\16 like mine? Is the camera frametime?

Thanks for dropping by. You have quite the set up yourself! I had a MicroFreak and sold it to try a couple of others .. but nothing came close to the fun of a Freak. I just love the arp/sequencer on it. MiniFreak is even better.. get one! :D

Nice jam. The idea of having a 303 together with the Bassline is getting stronger ;) Question: when you perform, do you count bars or just let it happen?

thanks :) I usually go from bassline to TD3 and back.. but I'm liking playing them together / bouncing off each other lately. another td3 could be fun too as they're pretty cheap. i dont count bars.. but probably should. timing / changes wasn't great in the is one :| i do just enjoy making it up as i go along.

Thanks for listening! :) I think you're referring to the TD3 which is doing some of the acid lines and not anything drummy.

@@gwads5404 nah, I know what the td3 is, have one myself. I meant the thing with the step sequencer that you can see the drum patterns being triggered from (can literally see the snare pattern being triggered by it). Shouldn't have labelled it a crappy jam, there's obvious understanding of key and melody there.

No. I know what the volcas are. I mean the blue machine right in the centre. The one with multiple light up step sequencer rows. The one you can literally see triggering the snare drum using one of those rows. See the steps enabled and hear it. Bro how is this such a hard question lol? What the fuck?

The perkons is the master clock It starts all the synths as well as Ableton. Keep trying.. honestly syncing/midi is by far the hardest part of music production lol
