I agree (to some extent). I play in our local league, so I'm not even close to his level, but I enjoy every second of playing matches and training. I don't feel the need to go to parties and all that stuff. I really love the sport. Sometimes when I think about it, it's like winning a lottery. I have a passion, which is also a sport, good for mental and physical health, and I don't need anything else Also I think I should add, that my closest friends are playing table tennis with me. Other friends are just like peripheral

I never had that F.O.M.O he talks of. I didn’t want to be anywhere else but training, camps and competitions. Sounds a bit like he was forced to do it. Only thing I never really felt great about was going abroad. Think I was just too young and didn’t really like leaving an entire country without, mainly, my parents. And I never did well abroad either as a result.
