I "studied" English here, place was horrific, nice town but the university was defiantly the worst three years of my life, the level of collective stupidity defies the concept of higher education. Most people were there through clearing, something I was unaware of when in a moment of misguided enthusiasm I applied for the place. Fortunately I went on to a proper university afterwards and discovered that not all universities were seething cess pits of humanity's dregs, total Sh=t hole

Hmmm zu meiner Zeit hielten die ICs nicht in Worms an, da musste ich immer in Mainz umsteigen als ich bei der Bundeswehr war.

Es sind auch nur wenige InterCitys und ICEs, die in Worms halten, so daß man auch weiterhin meistens umsteigen muß. Mittlerweile fahren fast alle IC/ICE sowieso rechtsrheinisch zw. Köln, Frankfurt-Flughafen und Mannheim. Früher gab es noch viele Schnellzüge, die in Worms hielten, auch viele internationale nach Paris, Prag, Rom, usw., aber die wurden ja ersatzlos gestrichen.

Das war noch alles vor meiner Zeit, jedoch kann ich mich noch genau erinnern das man in der Unteren Kämmerer Strasse noch genau sehen konnte wo einst die Gleise waren. Schade das man sich damals für Busse entschieden hatte, heute ist ja der Öffentliche Transport Gedanke genau umgekehrt. Vielen Dank für das tolle Video!

Es wäre schön, wieder eine Tram in Worms zu haben. Aber leider glaube ich nicht daran, denn die Stadtverwaltung schafft es noch nicht einmal, einen vernünftigen Busbetrieb zu finanzieren (wahrscheinlich weil Bürgermeister & Co. alle mit dem Auto fahren...)
