There was a moment in time that this song broke me into tears. The first line is heartbreaking but incredibly powerful. So much love in so little words. It made me think about my sister and I, and how in our ever growing ages no matter how we break and what we have become or not become, what we have accomplished or lost, we are blessed and lucky to have anyone let alone our parents to still have an unconditional love for us. This song is INCREDIBLE. It feels good to be understand we are appreciated.❤

It rarely happens that a live performance beats the original….but when it does, it blows me away.

One of the most poignant, haunting, and nostalgic songs I've ever heard. It induces a feeling of love that I've only ever felt a few times. A masterpiece.

This song is difficult to cover well. This version is beautiful on many levels, from arrangement to vocals. My personal preference is to fade this song out at the 6:20 min. mark.

Long afloat, on shipless oceans I did all my best to smile Til your singing eyes and fingers Drew me loving to your aisle And you sang Sail to me Sail to me, let me enfold you Here I am, here I am Waiting to hold you Did I dream, you dreamt about me Were you hare, when I was fox Now my foolish boat, is leaning Broken lovelorn on you rocks For you sing, touch me not Touch me not, come back tomorrow Oh my heart, oh my heart Shy's from the sorrow I'm as puzzled as the newborn child I'm as riddled as the tide Should I stand amid the breakers Or should I lie with death my bride Hear me sing Swim to me Swim to me Let me enfold you Here I am, here I am, waiting to hold you

Easily the best cover of Tim’s original Song to the Siren and in another league to all other covers including This Mortal Coil’’s imho. This incredibly ethereal version makes all other covers sound like pop songs and John Gran’t stunning vocal is so perfectly measured! ❤

Last night I was taking a walk along the river And I saw him together with a young girl And the look that he gave made me shiver 'Cause he always used to look at me that way And I thought maybe I should walk right up to her and say Ahhaha, it's a game he likes to play Look into his angel eyes One look and you're hypnotized He'll take your heart And you must pay the price Look into his angel eyes You'll think you're in paradise And one day you'll find out He wears a disguise Don't look too deep Into those angel eyes Oh no no no no Sometimes when I'm lonely I sit and think about him And it hurts to remember all the good times When I thought I could never live without him And I wonder does it have to be the same Every time when I see him Will it bring back the pain? Ahhaha, how can I forget that name? Look into his angel eyes One look and you're hypnotized He'll take your heart And you must pay the price Look into his angel eyes You'll think you're in paradise And one day you'll find out He wears a disguise Don't look too deep into his angel eyes Crazy 'bout his angel eyes Angel eyes Once he took my heart and now I pay the price Look into his angel eyes You'll think you're in paradise And one day you'll find out He wears a disguise Don't look too deep into those angel eyes Oh no no no no Ahhaha, keep thinking, ahaaaah Keep thinking 'bout his angel eyes Ahhaha, keep thinking, ahaaaah Keep thinking, I had to pay the price Ahhaha, keep thinking, ahaaaah Keep thinking 'bout his angel eyes Ahhaha, keep thinking, ahaaaah Keep thinking, I had to pay the price Keep thinking, I had to pay the price
