Save their meal and if they are really hungry they can eat the rest of it, even if cold. That way she can eat it she is really hungry, but not require any more meal prep or have her swindle you into a snack she likes better.

In Ontario Canada you start what we call JK the year you turn 4 and Kindergarten the year you turn 5. The cut off as far as I know is December 31. She would definitely be in kindergarten here. Best of luck with the new school year!

My son was held back to repeat PreK because his teacher and principal didn’t think he was mature enough emotionally. He went on to get his Masters. Some kids aren’t ready physically and/or emotionally to move forward. It doesn’t mean they cannot succeed in life. 🥰

In 🇨🇦my grandson who will be 4 in December is starting Junior Kindergarten. His class has kids born in 2020 from January till December. Eloise would be in senior Kindergarten here.

The string pulled off my IUD when it was being removed. It took alot to remove it as it had adhered to my cervix. Alot of rummaging and pain, it was removed. As I was leaving I was violently ill.

Gee in Australia we start each new school year with each new calendar year (usually first week of Feb after summer hols). We have a scorching hot Christmas 😰 but it’s still amazing & very festive although we don’t decorate & celebrate as much as Americans tend to do. Not trying to be mean and nasty as you put it. It is about being concerned about what is being shown and the behaviours. It is sad that you would turn a blind eye to concerning behaviours. I have the training to spot such behaviours and I’m concerned for Rachel. If they chose to put it on social media then it is open for comment

My youngest son had an evaluation at age 5 and I was told that he would not do well in a classroom setting and made to sit in a chair. Would suggest you let her stand to do a lesson or let her sit in a chair that moves like a desk chair

In New York State, you can start kindergarten at four as long as you turn five by December 1

When my kids started pre school, the teacher told me that their biggest goal was to get kids to line up because that skill will follow you for the rest of your life.

My niece is going thru this. she will be 4 at the end of September, and she is just starting preschool. The cut off for starting kindergarten is they must by 5 by August 1st. She was ready for preschool last year, but the date of her birthday is holding her back. She will be almost 6 by the time she starts kindergarten. I think they need to start looking at the progress of the kid, before making this judgement especially if they are close to the cut off.

The pottery place is great for kids. We have in Ontario Canada called Creative Cafe. My kids loved it.

Hi as a daycare provider for over 30 years a mom a grandmom etc little ones control the food and the potty and sleep if you let them, so stick to the plan we all eat at this time we snack at this time and sleep at this time and no is no before long your day flows with peace. the wont stave for sure. Routine is the best plan and when you have to be off routine they will comply well. Love the channel you have a great family
