I grew up in Huntington. We moved away in 1974 when I was 14 years old. I haven't been back there since. I didn't recognize anything I saw in the video until I saw Toaz High School. I still see that place in my mind's eye all the time. I'm almost 65 now.

Right on the hood :) I use a GoPro 👍 it gets the job done but doesn’t last more than 20-30 mins in the heat.

I hear that! The traffic situation is truly worsening. Sometimes it is hard to film in traffic… lots of stop and go and way more editing :)

Thank you for doing this drive my friend. I was uprooted in 1977 by my parents and brought to NC at a young age. I enjoyed the video, I even saw St.Mary's church in east islip where I went to school. Brings back memories. Wish I could go back up there....we'll see what the future holds. Thanks again...keep up the good work/driving.

I am from the Netherlands, Europe. Drove the Parkway many times on my tours around the Island and found it very relaxing. Have to say I always went there in september/october, outside the busy summer period. The first time was in the 90's when the OBI was still in business.
