Is the show still around today, yes it is, you are viewing it. It is in one of my private game rooms. I occasionally turn it on and use it for parties before Covid hit, everything is setting idle at the moment. Do I know where it was at, that is clearly shown on the blueprints at the beginning of this video. It was called John Phillip Tuba’s Ice Cream in the Park. They didn’t sell pizza, they obviously sold multiple flavors of ice cream. I’m sorry to say I missed out going there when they were open, I never knew they were there until it was too late, and they went bankrupt. I traveled the south eastern United States in the early 80s visiting different shows and places like this one. Chuck E. Cheese, Showbiz, Circus Playhouse and others I have forgotten over the years. I wish I could’ve saved more shows like this back then, but money and storage was tight, and had kids to raise. I also saved Dolly Dimples, and have the parts for The King (Elvis)/Michael Jackson, Beatles/Beach Boys. Costume was lost on Artie Antlers. :(

This is fascinating! I would love to know more about this show! I’ve always wondered about it after hearing mention of it. I’m a longtime animatronics fan….currently rebuilding an old Chuck E. Cheese show!

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be noticing? Could this mean Sally Corp. made the cyberamics? Well, I certainly hope so since it has Sally written all over the computer, controls, diagrams and manuals… If you are referring to CEC as Chuck E Cheese‘s, did Sally make the shows for them, the answer is no! Nolan Bushnell made and designed the shows in California for Chuck E. Cheese, built by PizzaTimeTheatre. Yes they are very similar.

It looks pretty similar though.

@@KingCaleb-uj4tx Hey! Rihordan Company helped make the cyberamics they made the parts (head, lids, torso, arms, jaw.) Then PTT assemble the parts and put in the costmetics.

I just found out that the animatronics are from John Phillip Tuba's Ice Cream Corporation, a restaurant similar to Chuck E. Cheese's with the animatronics and everything, except with ice cream instead of pizza.

It was a small company that was imitating Chuck E. Cheese’s ice cream parlor. I believe this was opened only in Naples Florida and didn’t perform well, so it closed.

The switcher is much more reliable than the factory power supply. With a short like that, it can also short the high current transistor used in the 5 volt circuit. AND, the voltages from the wall are now higher than it was 40 years ago. With the voltages fluctuating higher posing a risk in damaging the custom chips. I tried fixing Gun Fight by Midway and its original board power supply design actually fluctuates with the line voltage. Which is why I *strongly* recommend using the switching power supply. Although in this test, the short circuit would've immediately interrupt the power, but the switching power supply has either failed or there wasn't enough of a surge to trigger the interrupt.
