I was surprised to see this video! I've had some ideas similar to this, only for steampunk ornaments. The Dollar Tree is now selling frames very much like these, and that's how I got the idea. Now I see you were already doing ornaments. LOL Life sure is funny. Anyway, good job on the ornaments, very inspired now to do actually do some for my steampunk tree.

Always great to see you, my friend. I’ve dabbled in shoes a little bit. It’s been hit or miss for me. Like you I just grab what looks fun or good quality. I have a huge bag of boots my MIL got rid of that I need to list. She’s the type that buys clothing and shoes and maybe wears once if that and then does a clear out. Those black shoes me of some foam platform sandals I came across. They fit perfect and were so comfy but the condition just wasn’t there even to keep. I was in love lol Great haul!!

Fun to see your haul! I’m using a similar sourcing strategy at the retail GW & other thrift stores since I’m not near a Bins. I’m still learning as well, so it’s lovely of you to share! I love the stretched glass vases behind you! I’m constantly trying to find those!- only found one so far

How much did you pay for each item. I ask cause my goodwills are expensive at 8.00 or more. Hard to make much profit at 8.00

Mine too so what I do is cost average so I bought 54 items so my avg cost of goods was $6.80 I think I said in the beginning. The key I’m learning is if you are shopping higher look for higher profit items more substantial pieces too like dresses, pants, blazers and keep an eye on brands I also try to hit my goodwulls 50% off day when I want to get more basics cheaper

@@SideStreetMarket my Goodwills are too expensive. 15.00 or higher on the higher substantial pieces. by the time I get to good will on the weekends they are all sold. So, I have my inventory delivered to my porch. all New with tags fresh clothing that is high end styles and at around 3 to 4.00 a piece. I pay around 270.00 for about 65 pieces ( for example. 95% all new with tags. Company refunds me if the box ends up with more than usual damage with no arguments to deal with. I have a 50% or more sell through rate and hardly ever have to donate anything. Works like a charm.

Watch out for bedbugs ! Especially found in soft fabrics, books, clothes- treat everything you get from these type shops, especially goodwill type stores . It can cost you thousands to rid yourself of the bugs . Google bedbugs , they are horrible
