This is so cool. I play +r and this is pretty much a roman cancel but in a platform fighter. I think that this feature benefits platform fighters more because it allows for consistent kill confirms, even in high percentages

How to do this with controller? When i do it i jump too high. Im on ps5, its difficult to do the nair close to the ground for me. Do i have to switch control settings?

Is tap jump on for this?

This could be useful for Arya, since the tech puts her behind her opponents, and she deals increased damage behind people.

my character 95% of the time do up air attack istead of side air, you know what could be?

I like the versatility of this tech but it not lifting you off the ground at all makes it look so janky and makes it impossible to tell what you're doing based off of anything visual its just a guess. Its definitely important tech to learn since it exists but it looks so bad and isnt fun to lab tbh

Anyone know why it consumes two dodge bars? does attacking right after dodging always take up another bar?

For anyone else struggling with this, you need to perform the button presses almost simultaneously -- the window is very tiny. This also means you need to use right trigger to dodge instead of the B/circle button. Try this: 1. Hold the left stick in a diagonal upward for about a second while your character runs forward. 2. While continuing to hold the stick diagonally, quickly press and hold right trigger -> attack. If you time it right, you should see your character do an instant side or up air attack from the ground. From there it seems like it's just getting a feel for it. I'm still having trouble executing down airs, but side and up airs aren't too bad. You can kinda roll the stick in the direction you want once you press dodge, but it's tricky and takes practice.

Anybody find uses for this with Harley? Edit: if you space her two ftilts far enough you can get dair, then you can do it again, and maybe a triple time? then combo into more shit second edit: you can full screen dtilt into the instant aerial dodge and start combos off that too, you don't have to do the 2 ftilts exdusively. Still labbing third edit: dtilt into IAD (Instant aerial dodge) into dair into upspecial kills and confirms easily on anyone over 120. Probably lower for certain characters
