Interesting side note on the bronze serpent. It became an idol at some point and people worshipped it. It wasn't destroyed until the days of Hezekiah. 2 Kings 18:4 - He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it. (It was called Nehushtan. )

You are correct; that is true. Another time, God may be shaking his head, saying, "Guys, once again, you're missing the point." the snake was never intended to be worshiped; it is common for mankind to worship the thing they created instead of worshiping the God of all creation.

You need to learn the Holy Spirit's voice of what to do and when to step in ,then step out in faith and see where it goes. It should not be our thinking I need to do or not do, but listening to the Holy Spirit on what to do. Thank you for the sermon.
