No problem at all! Something I failed to mention in this video is to take your time doing this. If it took you 10 hours of work to afford your replacement panels, don't be afraid to take the same amount of time to install them. Also don't wear gloves when doing the spot welds on the top side, this way you can tell how hot your panel gets. If you can touch it without burning yourself then you know your panel won't warp

I'd like to but the last time I gave out his name he threatened to shoot me in the lower jaw with a cross bow. That kinda threat is WAY too specific not to be taken seriously! I can tell you it's about 3 hours north of Ottawa

Thanks for checking it out. Il make a proper video of this car, once it's here at the shop we can get a good look at it. My biggest fear was a rotten frame but this one seemed decent.I reached under and gave it the squish test and it didn't squash, so far so good!

found you on lou's channel. this is a GREAT find. you are SO LUCKY that all the trim is there and is not bent. that is very rare to find. especially on a car that has both bumpers bent down. those things could take out telephone poles! that car hit something very hard front and rear to bend those bumpers down. these cars had rust problems. that's why they are so rare. i bought mine in 1968. it was strait as an arrow. but had holes on the fenders behind the headlights. mud and snow would get stuck up in there and rot the fender out. also , they were known to leak. my floors were rusted and needed patchwork. and even the bottom of the seat mounting brackets were rotted away. i had to fab new brackets on the drivers side. also the rocker panels were horribly rotted. back then , you could get brand new rocker panels from j.c. whitney in chicago for $10 a side! to this day i think they were the most beautiful car ever made. i can give you 2 tips. make a bracket out of flat steel and hang the interior rear view mirror from the top of the windshield molding. there is a screw in the center that you can use. the factory mounting on the dash sucks for visability behind you. also, move the outside rear view mirrors from the fenders to the doors. when the mirror is on the fender, you can't see much behind you and you can't adjust it while inside the car.. with it on the door , you can see WAY more of what's behind you. best of luck on the restoration.
