by any chance did you side with minrathous for the neve one? If so, that is NOT a requirement. (I did it while siding with treviso. Though getting neve to hero status is more involved since she is hardened)

@@lorrithelinguist I’ll have you know I played all of the games. I’ve read all the books and I’ve been involved in a lot of the lore over the years. This game is trash compared to its history. I’m sorry you don’t like my opinion. But it is not in my habit to tear down things that I have loved. The simple fact of the matter is, they had no respect for the history or the lore of this game. It was poorly written, and the numbers speak for themselves. While not happy about it, that doesn’t make my opinion invalid. And again the numbers, show in the facts that I’m likely not wrong.

They are two separate fragments. Morrigan says that a fragmented spirit becomes two different beings, not two parts of one. Which means that the two Mythal fragments, the one with Flemeth and the one in the Crossroads are connected, but not the same. So yes, the Flemeth one gave herself willingly, while the Crossroads one wouldn't.

so 2 ways to get her to agree to help without much effort- either be a Dwarf, or defeat Anaris on Bellara's personal mission b4 meeting with Mythal interesting. now if only I could figure out how to do sliders for a good looking female dwarf lol- although, I have gotten exceedingly fond of being a Mage and becoming a Necrotic Roomba on the battlefield lol

I hate her so much. "Are you saying I should feel sorry for what I did to the dwarves? How dare you" or whatever she said, that was the sentiment 🙄 And then the way she abused Solas, among others I'm sure. She never got held properly accountable, and I hate it. We should have the option to tell her to fuck off, simple as that. And don't get me started on her part in tye "Redemption" ending...

Do you have to do another Harding quest to get the "I've felt the Titan's pain" option? I went to speak to Mythal after the quest where she speaks to Valta but before I went to Weisshaupt and I don't have that option (I'm also playing a dwarf).

You need to complete "Heart of the Titan," where she goes to the Deep Roads for the second time. It happens quite a bit after Weisshaupt (though Harding's is the earliest questline to conclude)

The lore Veilguard reveals about the dwarves was really compelling to me, even despite the bland writing in most of the game. Hope they don’t write off the Chantry just yet, since I always liked how the series treat their religious themes, but the origination story of the ancient Elves and how flawed of beings they all are, bound by their own whims and emotions was one of the best parts of the game for me. They really do feel like spirits, evem if writers seemed to have stepped away from some of the cool things Solas voiced in Inquisition. Honestly, I kind of just sped through some of the quests just wanting to see how the plot with Solas will unfold. Was actually wondering how being a Dwarf would affect the dialogue with Mythal after I got through it, too. Very cool! Thank you for sharing.

I agree. The writing throughout can struggle, but I think the broad plot and lore beats are actually not bad at all. And I do really like tying the Titans in with the Blight.

This is interesting, I have seen the other way to convince her quickly is to defeat Anaris in Bellara's questline before talking to her, but this is way more interesting. Mythal seemed to be too prideful to give a direct apology, but she definitely felt remorse and wanted to make things right, and yelling her essence quickly was her way of apologizing to the dwarves and the world for her mistake

Rook fight for the man that Mythal still loves, the man that was always right. He was right about the risks using lyrium for creating a body. He was right about separing the Titans of their dreams. Everytime, Mythal didn't listen, so maybe, this one time, Mythal will stand by Solas.

@@cedriclacomblez9827 Are you talking about Solas? Because i can give you at least 2 counters. He was wrong when he created Veil(he admitted so himself). Basically he had destroyed world he knew. He was wrong when he gave his orb to Corypheus and nearly destroyed world. And for all of his blather, he still killed Mythal, the part of soul that was in Flemeth. So i am with Mythal on this one. As she put it, Rook saw what Solas wanted him to see. Nothing more or less.

I believe the Anaris interaction can happen with any race, but the other interactions are definitely locked behind their respective races.
