Also, a great fast brass cleaner is Lime-A-Way!!! Believe it or not… I clean my kitchen copper sink to a high bright copper shine every so often (then let it oxidize back to brown eventually) but also anything brass it will instantly shine it and won’t harm the metal. Then I polish up with Brasso but it’s super fast because the tarnish is off. Just coats it a bit too. I don’t seal my brass because you can’t get it all off and eventually you get chips that tarnish. Great looking make over … as usual!! 🙌💯👍

Lime-A-Way! I just googled this because I never heard of it... but it could be because it's not as popular here in Canada. CLR popped up when I googled though and I'm guessing it's the same thing. GREAT tip Shelley, thank YOU!

There didn't seem to be much to that table and I wondered how different it could look. But I love what you did to it. I love the shiny brass and the dried sage is really nice.

Thanks for the tips on the cups and plates. So simple, it's genius! And why I never would have thought about it on my own, since I over-analyze things.

Neobarbarians, worshipping the God of Ugliness, destroying beatiful creations of past generations. There is just nothing cheaper to make than flat rectangular surfaces. And they look cheap, because they are, well, CHEAP.

Debating on using a stencil when I buy some furniture for a room being made over for dining room. Thanks for the tips. I wonder if when getting in the edges and corners with pouncing where a small bit of paint got onto the unwanted area, if possibly putting some painter's tape on that section although you may want to wait for the full curing time to make sure when lifting the tape off it doesn't pull off some of the paint. Still great job!
