That looks so cool and suits you well. I really wish more people wore hats, they add so much character. I started wearing a black wool homburg this year for no reason other than to try something new, currently have a crow & magpie feather in it. Now i need a hat pin! And might have to try a Bolero next. Cheers.🎩

I'm wondering what the salary of a worker in this factory is. Or can Mexicans be paid much less than the same workers in USA ?

What is the machine doing at 3:24? Is it leveling the frets?
@TavisAllen6 ай бұрын
No. Rather confident the machine is a belt sander. So, it levels the finger board (fretboard).

hi Brad, how about bringing over some of Takamines hi end guitars back to the states.... Takamine used to have exceptional master luthier made guitars and you cant get them here anymore yet they are still sold overseas
@BradleyJohnson13 Жыл бұрын
Yes, working on that. You are correct

@@BradleyJohnson13 I have a Nashville TNV series from 2003, after hundreds of gigs its in bad shape. I am looking for a replacement for it but theres nothing even close in terms of materials offered from Takamine that I can buy in the states. Do you have an estimated timeline of when this might happen? If its much longer I'm just gonna have to find another used TNV, and even that is near impossible because people dont sell them.

Nice to see so much of the actual hands on work. After buying a 214ce dlx it’s cool to see what went into your item. I still feel the American factory is only higher because of bloated salaries. Damn shame America has become so expensive and most workers are unhappy.

@BradleyJohnson13 - In what city was this factory? Do you know if this factory is called “Yamaha Music Craft”?
@TavisAllen6 ай бұрын
(In the description) Hamamatsu is the city, which is in Shizuoka prefecture, and is also home to Kawai. Yamaha Music Craft is the name for the division of the company that manufactures and sells wood.

Hey Bradley, When the CNC carves those necks, are they only rough carving it so the craftsman can finish final shaping it by hand, or does it carve it to the final thickness. Do you remember if the craftsmen do any work to the neck after it comes from the machine?
@BradleyJohnson13 Жыл бұрын
Yes. They get finished by hand. CNC takes away the bulk of the repetitive work
