I owned a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. I traded it for a 2014 SS which I still own. The G8 ran and handled well. The 6.0-liter V8 had active fuel management (cylinder deactivation). The transition from cylinder deactivation was seamless. The quad exhaust indicates a V-8, versus dual outlets for the 3.6-liter V6. A couple of items on this vehicle that are not correct for a GT or GXP is the tail lamps are red plastic. On G8 GT or GXPs this should be clear plastic with the red on the end of the cylinder inside the tail lamp assembly. Also, there are no badges on the rear trunk lid. This should have a Pontiac emblem with a GT emblem. So, there might have been an attempt to make others think this is a V6 version or the vehicle may have taken some rear end damage at some time. The G8 has been around for quite a while now, so checking the forums and warranty trackers should give a good idea on what issues have surfaced. Still a very nice vehicle with an aggressive stance.
