me and my best friends used to watch you every day. it was 3 of us. we're no longer friends but after coming across your videos again. I clicked your profile and saw this. I was wondering and thank you for this. wonderful that you're happy and followed your dreams, despite the unfortunate circumstances. keep being great Zewdy.

I think going back to Ethiopia was your connection and your identity, then moving away from it and start a teen rap kind of thing in a hijab was a mistake in my opinion.stick to one thing and use your talent and success will come to you.Bob Marley found his identity in Ethiopia,He took the Ethiopian kings pride and pan Africa spirit and got more attention.Look at what Lauren Hill does at BET,that was your show singing In front of all the historical monuments.Trust me ,go back to Ethiopia and make another hit ,you will see the difference.Look how many KZbinrs start from Ethiopia and make it in half a million subscribers.we love you ,don’t underestimate the Ethiopian spirit.

@@mamok3479 I am sure you mean well, however I think you shouldn’t speak on people or things(me/my life) about whom/which you do not have a comprehensive knowledge. I was already Muslim during my first & second visit to Ethiopia, at 25 years old. my life is my life and, with all due respect, no stranger on the internet can or should advise me on how it should be lived, Ethiopian or otherwise. I only made this video to give people answers to questions they had been asking me for years & to give a clearer picture of my journey. I am happy that things turned out the way they have because I have a deep relationship with God, inner peace, a strong bond with my family, and a very fulfilling life. I don’t want to change a single thing about the way I experience life.

@@Zewdy I am not giving you advice but that is my observation.I am not saying that I am 100% right,if you are wise ,you take it and try to connect the dots .Identity is something profound. All I am saying is we are your people we still can make you shine better than anyone.I really felt bad when you talked about money, because you are a little princess and Ethiopians would give you your recognition. No hard feelings,I am on your side .speaking of religion, I think who ever believes in God is saved .( you shared your story and should be happy to hear that people care about you, period)

Zewdy!!!! I love you so much ever since your first KZbin days!!! Loved catching up and seeing your journey. Your light and voice and personality spoke to me all those years back and finally cool to see it all come full circle for you and even have it resígnate with my own journey. Keep doing you! Love . ❤💯
Bonjour ! Hi ! Salam Alekum ! Zewdy. Thanks to share with us this informative video. It’s so nice to have news from you, after all this years. As I was one of your admirers, I’m happy to discover how you managed your music career and how you evolved into the person you really wanted to be and became. This in an important message about the loyalty that each person owes to himself. You have experienced life and you have been able to recognize what your true values are (on a musical, moral, religious level) and you have been able to make the necessary changes to better flourish as a human being. Your message could be positive for young artists (and anyone, really), since you shared your life journey with simplicity and honesty. You seem to have acquired a wisdom that is beneficial to you. Thank you for this reunion and this sharing. I wish you continued success and a happy life! After Ethiopia, you could perhaps come to... Quebec!
