Never got to see these fly. But one rare occasion, one came into Edinburgh and although I didn't see it, I damn well heard it depart. Flew right over my house, but clouds obscured it.

What makes this plane so special? For us who prefer to keep our feet firmly on the ground, this plane is not doing anything I have not seen countless others do. Except for its very streamlined design and graceful looks it strikes me as just another plane. Why do people in the comments get emotionally spasmodic about it in the comments?
@264flight29 күн бұрын
It’s very difficult to explain the easiest way to try is once you have seen a Vulcan flying it never leaves you it has a massive effect on you that never leaves 😄👍

I cannot watch this with dry eyes. This aircraft, and those like it on display, will always be a tribute to the crews who flew the long missions and endured those long hours on quick-reaction stand-by in the interest of peace. And anyway, what a magnificent spectacle!

thanks for the awesome footage! Just a quickquestion: Minute 15:41 where do you stay, is that a "normal" spot for everbody with normal ticket or is is Grand View Garden etc? Looks like its at the western part of runway... So they parked at the Static position and rolled out from there to the western part of runway to taxy down to the takeoff position at eastern end of runway...and afterwards they came back, same way. Thats cool! Minute 00:45 thats also a "normal" Position where the crowd is? amazing! Thanks from Germany. Andreas
@264flight2 ай бұрын
Hello Andreas. Yeah that’s a normal spot with a normal ticket. You are correct me and my group now head to the western end of the flight line where I can get these amazing shots. There are no crowds at that end ether so you can get to the front fence without anyone in your way. If you ever attend RIAT in the future you would be more than welcome to join us 😄👍

Is there anywhere in Britain where the view is not ruined by wind turbines? The sooner R-R's Small Modular Reactors are allowed, the sooner the countryside might return to being something worth being in.

Thanks from Texas ! We lost Texas Raiders in that air incident , I have always followed Sally G. To my UK friends, (I am a Brit expat in Texas) .. Come over to USA air shows ! You can get along the flight line and touch, even fly in the Warbirds. Much more access to the planes than in English Airshows. Of course most are American planes and the UK has much more RAF and other German content . Make a trip over, to Oshkosh or any of the CAF events, Wings over Houston is a once in a lifetime event ! Thanks for your post, I visited many Duxford events ,,
