I had lunch today 27th June 2024 at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Had a good meal and VROAwas sitting outside the Hanger getting ready to head out to an Airshow this weekend. She remains an absolute Beauty.

The last time I ever saw this true British masterpiece was at Southport that year where she flew with the red arrows, I had my name added to the bombay of XH558, it just makes being British all worth it!

Turbo is killing it! Great footage! I gotta say though, it's such a shame that the earth shattering noise this thing makes in full AB can't be experienced without actually being there. the sound is accurate, but not the way it has an almost physical presence when you're there. It just can't be reproduced at home. Also, if ever anyone has never seen a fighter jet low and fast and in full AB, get yourself to an airshow. seriously, you'll have a great time even if you're not that into Aviation!

Was at Cosford this year as well, I agree the audio you hear on a video doesn't do it justice. You have to be there in person to hear how truly loud that thing is.
@brandnewdan6 күн бұрын
@@bilack7007 seriously, you could have 100KW of subs mid and lows and it wouldn't touch the sound.

Technically is admirable. But why so much effort and money? To kill and force countries to let them be looted and destroyed at the pleasure of America and the West. Sad.

Editing - yes can be a real challenge and at times extremely frustrating, but also it can be very rewarding when it all falls into place continuity wise. In recent years l have been very lucky to have Lucy Holland as video editor who has done a truly superb job on making it happen visually on screen. Do check out some of our recent videos to get an understanding of what l mean, l just do the easy bit of talking and being in front of the camera. I have subscribed, so look forward to seeing more videos from you. Gary

The only Vulcan I ever saw was the one dangling its undercarriage after nearly crashing on Wellington Airport during an attempted touch and go. She really was a beautiful and graceful aircraft. The noise from those engines was unbelievable. ❤❤❤

Interesting and informative it was indeed, nice idea the interviews with the guys from the D-DAY Squadron. I can't believe l'm making the first comment on this video, it deserves far more views too. As someone who has made a fair few aviation related videos for my channel l know just how frustrating it can be not to receive feedback, especially when you put your heart and soul into into each video. Keep up the good work. PS l was there on that weekend at Shuttleworth too.

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind comments. Really glad you enjoyed what I put together there. It was terrible to try and edit lol. I think this is the only video on KZbin or anywhere with actual interviews about the aircraft of D-DAY SQUARON 😀👍

What a sad end. I wish I could have been at Brunty that day but I was at Brize watching her last ever take-off and then touch-and-go about half an hour prior to this arrival. Another beautiful British aircraft, missed by so many.

Britain in a nutshell there. The howl, the tease landing.... my all time favourite aircraft. My eldest saw one of the last fly overs on the day her sister was welcomed to the world by friends. I took her out for a walk on the day of her sisters baby shower. I'm delighted my 5 year old daughter (at the time) got to see that and associates that with her little sister. She still talks about it now! Imagine standing on a hill about Highclere (Downton Abbey) and watching that fly over at full chat! Epic!

Ive heard they are going to be upgrading them to the AH-64E model, so some of the apaches might be remaining in the british army

Yeah that’s correct it’s only MK 1 D models that were retired on Monday the Army had ordered 30 new E models so the Apache is going to be around for many years to come 😀👍
