We must be reminded that when we become complacent, we have given up our God-given free-will to the tyranny of one man. Let us not be the reflection of the annals of dark history. This is a great speech, but why after 13 minutes of amazing speech, we then cut straight to Trump? Neither side cares about the people.

Great speech. I've been a fan a long time. He and his team produce some incredibly well done and captivating documentaries. However, I am surprised Mr. Burns is so naive to suggest that this country has the capacity to come together as a unified nation. We've proven to only further solidify our division from one another over the last 249 years. The facts are that many of the originators of the framework of the United Staes government owned other human beings as property. White power, capitalistic greed, and Christian evangelism have brought us here, so in the spirit of Lincoln, the race to our suicide is in its final lap. Maybe A.I. knows when we expire. The whites that have so haphazardly run this debt-crazed, consumeristic nation into the ground must've thought they would get away with this forever. Why wouldn't they? Of course, they've gotten away with a lot for two and a half centuries, including, genocide, slavery, rape, murder, grand larceny, and treason to name a few. Furthermore, for a man who strongly supports the separation of church and state it is strange that he chose to reference Ecclesiastes, where the main points are the belief in one God as the creator of Earth and everything in it, but a God that does not influence events within the created world, as well as the belief that it is wrong to search for any purpose of life where this one God is not the central reason. And possibly that is a flaw of Christianity............ the inescapable viral narcissism. If you disagree, then ask yourself why we are and always have been Israel's puppet. While we arm Israel with weapons to perpetrate war crimes in Gaza, we also provide humanitarian aid to the innocent people of Gaza. It is because that is Holy Land. It is nothing more than a modern-day holy war. Bush jr. initially called his gulf war "The Crusades" and gave us the ultimatum to either agree or be a terrorist. It's laughable that it takes a person with Mr. Burns' accolades, education, experience, and notoriety to finally say what has been so obvious to the entire world for a very long time.

Another propaganda speech by a long time democrat. Trying to prepare the graduating class of 2024 for the New World Order. Globalism is the goal and control of the masses are his goals.

How can someone with education and intelligence get it so wrong. Biden's actions have been one of a dictator, by passing congress and signing 60 executive orders his first 100 days in office that, among other things, allowed the invasion of illegal immigrants (and paid them to do it), restrict the oil producing industry and then he went and bought the oil from places like Venezuela, and Biden is an absolute puppet or just plain stupid for not preventing the Ukraine war.

Wow. Seriously wow. We have been missing moving speeches like this in our politicians since Kennedy. They should hire this guy. Not only that, we need to espouse the same values and concepts in our children much sooner than college graduation.

Ken embodies “ Hypocrisy” by using this speech to influence an election. Even though he would like to say he try’s to maintain “neutrality” he is just a story teller, that’s all! Another Hollywood elite. Surprise… He is a regular contributor to the Harris campaign. Yellow dog democrat!

What a horrible speech. So, if half the country disagrees with the movie maker and votes for the former President, we are at an extensional crossroads. Will he not accept that half the Nation disagrees with him and thus promote the national suicide. Horribly myopic and prejudicial speech, but hardly unexpected.

One of the greatest speeches ever!

This is a tremendous speech. He quotes so eloquently from past writers and activets, but when he arrives at the latter part of the speech you can see and hear he dislikes what he says regarding our current election. I've seen Burns speak three or four times and (literally) bumped in to him a couple of times in New Hampshire, he is an intelligent, introspective man from what I can tell. He does not say or do things in knee jerk reaction, so this speech must have taken a lot out of him to publicly come out against one candidate. I admire Burns greatly and hope that many others will do the same.

This is a keynote that needs to be listened to more than once. Interesting comment about 'there is no other, no them'. These days it is the people who other themselves who are so deeply dividing us - blacks, gays, trans. Their goal seems to be spreading hate. Yet, they accuse everyone else of being the haters. I won't vote for Trump and I can't vote for Biden because he is destroying our culture.

And here I was thinking this guy loved our country. I guess he’s now wealthy enough to not give a damn.
