Time to ruin the scene... I love this movie and have watched it countless times. I have no idea why, but after Sarah was crushed by that wooden chest/nightstand, for the first time, I started to wonder, "How will Nancy move that chest away? It has so much weight to it...." When Nancy walked over to dig Sarah out, the chest was no longer there. Then, I noticed Sarah's clothes were against the adjacent wall she flew into! Shouldn't her clothes be turned 90 degrees, with her back to the other wall? Last, after Nancy was kicked, she flew past a mirror in the hallway and crashed into a second mirror at the end of the hall. Who has two mirrors in one hallway? lol I really never noticed any of those flaws until this morning. The Craft's been getting away with those since '96.

The drawer was moved there by magic so it was moved again with magic.. at least thats how i always interpreted it. The binding was not yet done so i assume nancy can still move it again
