Thoughts on Apurva Kempinski vs Potato Head?

@@SeraphisQ kempinski definitely has more of that traditional luxury hotel found in a lot of nusa dua resorts. potato head feels more boutique and trendy but their customer service is on par with typical 5 star resorts. potato head is also a lot smaller than kempinski but its right in the heart of seminyak so it’s definitely convenient. kempinski is more like an escape/for relaxation.

Can't chose between two great hotels; just have three nights in Bali. Probably going for 1 night Potato Head followed by 2 nights Kempinski 😅

First time seeing the Island and how you made 3 days stay into beautiful stories . The Island looks beautiful and so peaceful with the marina, the water , little shops , the spa and cozy airB and B , very nice get away for the two of you , so happy you've experienced it. Hi! We really liked this resort and felt like it was a good price point at the time. However, it wasn’t walkable so we rented a motorcycle. There are more convenient hotels but attractions are all over the island so you’ll need some mode of transportation either way!

This is the nicest comment ever 🥹🥹😭😭 thank you so much!! We stayed at Hotel Amanek Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo. We loved staying here because it was quite affordable, clean, near bus stop and train station, and also had an onsen inside. I would say each bus ride is about 23,000 rupiah (had to google this because I forgot haha) and we used our SUICA card! Let me know if you have any other questions 🥰

We rented a car but if you’re only in Surabaya for a few days, I’d just use Grab. For Songgoriti, I’m not sure if there’s many Grab drivers in that area.

Hi! Thank you for watching :) I took it at a cafe called Tempa Kultura. They do all sorts of creative events each month. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like they’ve held another paper making workshop since then. Bali has so many other great classes though :) I’ve done traditional cooking classes in Ubud and loooved it. I would look through Airbnb experiences and see which workshops pique your interest. Have the best time in Bali with your daughter!

The weather might not be the most ideal but come extra prepared with the right attire and maybe stay in a convenient location so you don’t have to travel far to get to your destination! I’ve personally never experienced that weather but on the days it was rainy we did indoor activities like spaland and cafes. Hoping for good weather when you go 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
