Back again. Im learning this for an old man whom I bought his ninja zx12r . He can’t ride anymore. And now I continue to see him and meet with his therapyst few times a week to help him learn to walk again. He was smiling ear to ear with love and passion pouring from his soul when he told me about this song and that it was his favorite. And how he feels when he rode the bike. I want to surprise him by showing up with the red and black ninja and a guitar and play it for him. 😊 I can play it ok right now. And almost know all the words. But I want to learn how you played it. And you sung it so well. 💯% bravo 👏. So thanks for helping me give an old man vet, hopefully a moment to lift his soul from the wheel chair to his youth

I love this story! Thank you for that. Bob Seger has always been one of my favorite song writers, because it's like somebody telling you a story from beginning to end, and this song is so easy to relate to for a lot of people, riders or not. Just think of the story he's telling, and it'll be easier to get all of the words right and in the right order. I hope you'll come back and comment after you do it, I want to hear how it went! I hope he's able to get back on his feet again soon, and please let him know that I thank him for his service!

It's actually a funny story. I opened for DAC one night and the venue had this banner made that hung outside. When his people pulled in and saw my name above his, they immediately made them remove it, haha! So, naturally I asked if I could have it, and took it home with me!

Trey. I just came back around to this cover. I listen to a lot of covers and am a musician myself. This is one of the best covers I have ever heard. Keep it up man. You are good!!
