Also one more thing I noticed, by mixing the wake words, the engine does not start. Do you think that can be solved? Because human tendency is always subject to errors and it will be a good thing if the engine overrides those and brings the experience correctly, here to start even if we mix the wake words

Nice video, have some questions - How long does it take to build the command words say around 6 of them compared to wake word which took around 1 hour for 2 of them?

this is more like a voice fingerprint demo. it would be better to add a pre-recorded demo with recording's of Aaron getting rejected --- that is the liveness check.

As if we weren't already overwhelmed with the need to start our conversations with devices with "Alexa...", "Okay/Hey Google....", "Siri....", "Cortana....", and so on, now you want us to say "Voice Genie...."? Why couldn't you just add this feature to devices and use one that's pre-existing? The added confusion will be a hard seller. Yes, localized command without internet is appealing, but another assistant is not.

Those wakewords are proprietary and this microwave is not being made by Samsung/Google/Motorola/Microsoft/Amazon so can't use their trigger.
@DerkVedelaar
@DerkVedelaar 4 жыл бұрын
Assuming it's build in to the microwave (it's offline after all, so no connectivity with other devices?), they are going to need a new conversation starter for every device they make. I would have liked better if they had chosen "microwave". "Hey microwave, open the door!". This leaves possibility for other devices too "Hey fridge, open the door!".

Why Don't you Just sell this to Apple for a huge amount of money?.. and everyone will be happy. I mean you guys are still having problems uploading vid's... Who (in 2011) uploads a vid at 240p with text taken from MS office word 97... and the name "Trulyhandsfree Voice Control 2.0" (no comments). Great tech no doubt, but you guys should take it to the next level. just my op

Impressive that you could isue the command from so far away. How is this different than Vlingo's trigger system?
@yanava
@yanava 13 жыл бұрын
That's amazing enough, but we do need to couple this with more stuff that Siri does, like the beeing able to ask questions, searching wikipedia, converting currencies and other stuff. It's not that far away from now, it just seems that someone must create a big starting point with this thing running and then build up content dependent on this voice activation. Future looks promising from where I see.

LOL @shock2011! Apple must think users want to push a button to start the VR.

No, @MacBookHero . The magic of THF is that you DON'T have to press a button - unlike Siri.
@SensoryInc

Someone please tell @g00nther that Apple forgot to include a voice triggering technology when they "invented" VR. Users still have to push a button to start Siri, but THF is always listening.
