How do you get them to dry flat and not lift?
@MocasWorld9 күн бұрын
I cut them directly on the cutting pad (the thin flexible cutting board) and cover with the plastic and allow to dry untouched as shown in the video. For best results, I do suggest placing another cutting pad on top, then flip them over, remove the top cutting pad and cover with the plastic for drying. This will allow air underneath the help with drying time. The pad underneath MUST remain completely flat during the drying process. The tiles could take up to a week maybe even longer to dry, depending on the room temperature. Check on them daily, and if you notice any lifting as they dry, GENTLY flatten with your fingertips. If any part of the tile still dries unevenly, just use a little extra DIY Modeling Paste (which I use as grout) to level them out when tiling. Check out my video for the DIY Modeling Paste also in the Crafts Playlist.

WOW thank you so much. Your explanations together with the video are so simple & it looks very easy. Q: can I use cornstarch instead of baby powder? Q: to smooth the paste when applying, can I do it with a damp or wet brush? Or just with palette knife or finger/s? Q: can I put the paste into a piping bag to create raised lines? Q: where are you located/based from? I’m very excited to try this!! I’ve subscribed & look forward to many more tutorial videos. Once again, my sincere thanks ♥️

@@mariettew-b9629 #1 Yes you can use cornstarch instead of baby powder (some baby powder are made with cornstarch) #2 I don't recommend using a damp/wet brush to smooth the paste, as it adds more moisture to the paste. You can use a dry brush... Smoothing method just depends on what you are comfortable with and what is more efficient for you. #3 Yes you can pipe the paste using a piping bag. I don't recommend storing the paste in the piping bag though. A sealed glass jar works best for storage #4 I am in Europe currently but sometimes in the US. I'm excited for you. Have fun with the paste! Please use the recipe in the description section of the videos (the original video had euro & US measurements... a bit confusing). The machine, according to factory settings, doesn't receive enough water due to environmental protection laws, which means it cannot wash clothes properly because it doesn't have enough water. This can be fixed by adjusting the float in the machine (the part that measures how much water the machine will take). I bought the machine new from an authorized dealer with a 5-year warranty. Drying in this machine is impossible because you cannot set the drying temperature. After drying, the laundry has an unpleasant smell, as if it’s burned, and it is very over-dried because it dries at an extremely high temperature. Additionally, the machine is prone to breaking down easily. The drying program doesn’t show the remaining time; it constantly resets to the beginning of the drying cycle. The programmer on the machine broke after 17 washes. Don’t buy this piece of junk; buy anything else.

@@bitlucky_doo I'm really sorry to hear all the issues you've been having. Since you bought it new and there's a warranty, I would think the manufacturer/service department would have sought to make things right with any defects after you reached out to them. According to the distributor in Iceland, you should eat half or 1 prune each day, but you may want to start with a quarter of a prune and gradually increase your dosage. So eating a full prune on the first day is not recommended. Other than that, thanks for the helpful video. I saw some videos where people put the plum in water, so I wasn't sure if your supposed to do that or just take a bite. I ended up just taking a bite, like you. Definitely tastes good, and I'm eager to see the effects.

@@erlingoskarkristjansson8609 Good advice! Since my first use, (in the video) I use the prunes now as "maintenance"... I eat 1 full prune and drink the water whenever I feel I need it. I think that is a good guide, as everyone's body is different. I've also shared a few with family and they say 1 occasionally is very helpful.
