Damn this is a good lyric! Great story and so real life story for meny people. And the melody and the way he sings it.. Yeah Eric!!! You have to cut this one as a single or on an album. The songs special and I've lived in Nashville for tre years doing the writing around thing and wrote with meny top writers. But man this song is special! Please cut it!

K Beeo Agreed. I was there, tiny room, about 200 people a bar and a stage. The AC wasn’t working and this was about 11 at night. The crowd was pretty drunk and rowdy. There always has to be one or two jerks who just won’t stop yelling. Eric’s response was pretty funny though. He was pretty tipsy himself.

I dont like the live version at all. However, I listened to this song daily at war and it made me miss Carolina. It gave me the strength to fight on. I listened to it all the time. I am glad to be back home....and I think this song had something to do with it.

Brandon Church died a few weeks ago. I don't know the cause of death, but I suspect it had to do with alcohol. He was 36. I really hope this song ends up on the new album. It would be a fitting tribute.
