Funny as fark! Nearly 25,000 views, you should be proud. Has anyone covered this song yet or are you too grumpy to let anyone else play your song? I will if you say yes, it’s a great comedic song that should be even more popular than it is.

Your welcome to cover it my friend

@@KEITHJOHNPAUL done deal, I’m sure you’ll complain I’m too young at 41 to be singing it but I’m a grumpy old man too, better than being a senile old Biden I suppose. I’ll let you know when it’s done and hopefully sent a few views your way to get it over 25K views here

Why didn't you show the picking pattern as well as the chords, I am none the wiser after watching that!
@KEITHJOHNPAUL5 жыл бұрын
Thank's for your input, but i played the song to show the chords for beginners, i don't want to start complicating the simple versions of the songs at this stage. i picked it in the way i play it, you can strum the song, or put whatever picking pattern that you wish to fit the song.

@@KEITHJOHNPAUL I am trying to work out how the guitarist picks this in the live performances of this song as it seems different on every tab I've seen but you seem to do it the same and I can't figure out how you do it either?

@@chrisewan4086 I see what you mean, sorry but i have only been putting video's on to show chords to help beginners, you can understand how awkward it would make it for people starting to learn, as you can see my version's are not always to the record, i try to make them as simple as possible, but i will put a video showing how i have been picking it if it help's you, and thank's again for your comments.

Just a note, this song was not written by Rod Stewart but by Danny Whitten from Crazy Horse who backed Neil Young as well as their own tours! Love and Peace, Skip

Thanks for the comment, but i haven't said it was written by Rod Stewart, it just says a Rod Stewart song, as he had a big hit with it. and he is known for the song.

Hi, the finger picking i am just using 4 strings : G CHORD .A,D,G.B STRINGS, when in the D CHORD D, G , B, E STRINGS. picking each string once on the way down, and alternating the picking on the way up to suit the song, hitting the two middle string twice.
