Other way around. The pit wasn't intended, Hakita said so himself in a dev stream, but the 3 dual wield power ups definitely were.

THINK, LUNAR CAT, THINK! Why would Hakita add three duel wielding power ups for you to stack and then give a challenge that can be cleared with high DPS if it wasn't intended? I will admit that I was surprised to hear other comments saying the pit method was an oversight, though. I thought both routes were intended.

Ultrakill is that game I wish I could enjoy, I just cannot find fun out of the game for the life of me. I figured since I enjoy the Quake games Ultrakill would be a perfect fit but I just can’t figure out how people find it fun.

The thing is, Hakita never expected us to do anything, he just leaves all the toys in the sandbox and gives us insane amounts of freedom to experiment and do whatever you'd like.

jumpstart is pretty balanced because we are clearing the hell and he needs a good gun so in my opinion its fairly balanced (its my favorite variation)

I mean yeah I love it lol, just sometimes when it clears an entire wave in cg it feels op, but tbf it does need a lot of setup to work well

@@rosieposie12567it's like flipping coins, coins need good setup for good dmg output My speculation on this is: So jumpstart also needs proper setup to work but if coins are op against bosses jumpstart is op against normal enemies so setup is easier(normal mobs don't have long speeches). If it is extremely hard to set things for jstart, nobody will really use it. Maybe Hakita will wait till ppl get used to it and then slightly debuff it so ppl still use this but it's not op

Yea considering the fact that we got the Whiplash at 4-4 and this is 4-2 it's obvious the intended way is to stack dual wield and nuke him. It really doesn't make any sense for a challenge for one stage to only be completed by an item obtained 2 stages later
