It was the best class there because it had the pet that was free for everyone in a era of the game where per were only for members. It was also the best cuz it was in the same era where most of the classes didnt have a reliable source.of healing. Unlike today day and age where each new class comes with a healing skill , back then u had to put your trust in your fellow players and try 5 men a boss like you should. A team game but with the introduction of infinite healing that mechanic was indirectly removed. Necro was the most loved and farmed class because: 1 there wasn't a better class back then that had dmg and heal. And 2 because u didn't had to depend on players since u could solo the bosses by yourself. Of course it wouldn't hold a candle to the new classes. Necro was simple and efectiv. Not hard to learn and not much to learn. But now all classes come with 19 diferent effects in 1 skill and 4 passives, 3 stacking mechanics. No one uses necro now not because is bad but rather because are better options out there more efficient. In my opinion they should rework necro to today standars and buff it.

Worth ? Yes , need most in ultra's you name it , farming is excellent soloing can do but depends on enhancement you have overall it's a well demand class in any rooms

You know, the 5th skill increases its damage the more you stack right? Don't let it fade. I felt pain when you let the 5th skill effect fade. Your dps was so low because you let 5th skill fade. "Perform the Arcana's ritual, using your foe as the offering! Applies Sacrifice to your target, increasing the damage they take from each successive hit of this skill by 150%, up to 22 times."

I currently use blaze binder for farming. I was farming for legion revenant but should I just instead farm for archfiend instead? Great videos and happy Holidays!

Legion Revenant is worth to get it just for Ultras and some niche scenarios, taking advantage of LR's unique mechanics like Arcane Shield. That buff is the reason why LR is mostly used as a taunter, as the class is one o the just 3 classes of the game that can mitigate true damage, but the unique one who have a big performance, which is specially usefull on Warden, Speaker (mostly by its Decay with infinite range) Darkon and sometimes Champion Drakath Also, this class is also one of the few classes with the highest versatility of all scenarios (DPS, survivability, farming, support and even PvP), so even if you have better classes for each scenarios, LR still worth to get it

i got this class a while back to help farm for forge enhancements since the only farming class I had was blaze binder. But now I use archfiend and dauntless since its faster, but LR is good for late game players who do ultras

Necromancer back in the day is equivalent of VHL right now. It was the best class and everyone wanted it.

I very love this class, is currently my favorite class that I realized a lot of things to show the potential of AI, like testing dps, builds for each scenarios and even soloing some ultras with it. Oh, and also, I recommend Acheron for low HP farming, as when 30% out dmg is actived you can almost always oneshot with 3 so Acheron's self dot doesn't stack and during The World, Stygian and Elysian doesn't active during the effect, so can be slightly faster with Acheron thanks to the 100 points of just wizard and luck I love the concept of the class combined with the tarot
