My favorite scene, from one of my favorite series. The OC was so good that even today, it's still good. The series ages well, it has plots that are realistic even in 2024, from Ryan's situation because he is poor, Marissa's situation because she was spoiled all her life and having to face a destroyed family, to the way the series treats Luck's father's homosexuality and how it interfered with his life at school, making the prejudice that made his father hide his sexual orientation justified. Apart from countless other plots, as the series genuinely highlighted several characters, from Kirsten's depression and alcoholism to more secondary characters such as her sister, Caleb, Julie Cooper and even the insane Oliver, who was actually a young man abandoned by the parents amid wealth.

I love this episode you could feel the pain in both julie and ryan. Julie was fuelled by revenge and ryan was avoiding his feelings at all costs because it was to painful. Them being on the same page for the first time ever was so poetic as julie knew the only person that was suffering as much as her was ryan becausd he loved marissa and her dying meant he failed because he was always their to save her.
