@judithkathambi3213 And i Respect his Opinion,coz Out of the Many Clients who have worked with us Its only him who has come up with that Conclusion,so it depends with the Design of your house,therefore if you insist on putting things like Tiles,Gypsum and Such stuffs,then Automatically the Budget goes up...if you want your house to b plastered,it will also increase the cost...but if its a Simple and Smart House,it will be a Pocket Friendly one..

This process is nowhere near cheap. If you can get ndarugo/ machine cut stones at 25bob each, the cost of motar which is just a small mixture of sand and cement and the coat of plaster which is also quite insignificant will be much cheaper than the coat of buying all that barast, quarry dust, sand, cement and paying for the labour and the time to make these bricks. Not to forget that cement is still used when constructing walls with the bricks, and you'll also need some D bars for corners when building with these bricks. All that and thwy still coat you 70bob each which is equivalent to 3 machine cut stones.
@pstgidraphmwangi19124 ай бұрын
I respect your idea and point...but in the general cost of the finishing process ya Nyumba,with Interlocking blocks we have tested and proven that it saves atlist 30% and the house is More Warm inside than House build on Ndarugo..
@dipsy4054 ай бұрын
@@pstgidraphmwangi1912 the issue of warmness or cold doesn't apply in Africa. Watu wanaishi nyumba za mambati and they still live normal lives like everyone else. So, unless you're building in a desert where temperatures plummet at night, warmness doesn't count in Africa. I've built several mjengos and researched widely about various technologies including stabilized soil interlocking blocks kama zile za makiga. One thing I'd say with the blocks you're using here is that buying and transportation of sand, quarry dust and ballast, then all that work of preparing the materials, loading them in the concrete mixer, then preparing molds with diesel, loading the mixture in molds, waiting to dry, removing molds, puting in curing tank and then arranging the bricks is not easy. Then the bricks will still need cement when building and the corners of the house have to be stabilized with chuma na koroga. This whole process is not cheap. You can't just paint the walls because they'll not be smooth and even, remember if you paint uneven walls, dust will be settling on those wavy areas on the walls, thus the occupants will need to be constantly wiping their walls.
