Man. Seeing this video brings out a mix of nostalgia and melancholy. As a 10 year old, I was totally obsessed with the Life Hacks for Kids videos and would spend hours recreating the crafts done on the show. It was the first time I'd felt so inspired/excited by a show, because not only were you making cool stuff, you got to make cool stuff that you (as a kid) could actually use. I remember I'd also try and make my own extensions/advanced variations of the crafts made and it was fun experimenting to see how I could improve it on my own. Over the years, as I got older and started working on more and more advanced crafts on my own, I increasingly found that crafting and building stuff was my passion. The love for experimentation and being able to build useful things never left me. Today, as a young adult and now an Engineering student, Its hard to believe just how big an impact the inspiration I got via this show had on my development. I owe a lot to this show, and its influenced my life in an unimaginable way. Its hard to believe all these years later how much of an impact something like this can have. Thank you, Sunny, for all youve done 🙂

Yeah I watched the red balloon 17 years ago back when I was 3 at the Alamo drafthouse. I don’t remember my feelings about it back then. But I always remember that whenever I got a balloon I was just waiting to see where it would take me especially if it was a red one. But as someone who has a lot of love for the red balloon I can definitely see the love and passion of the film being put into this. I really enjoyed this!
