Thank you! I love longer videos too but dang, this one takes the cake! I love the addition to gold glitters in that Painted Polish, just that little extra that makes it different. But I think when that one runs out I will be getting the KBS one, if it's still there, because it has metallic glitters and it's dainty too. I am loving Bootlegger, I still have it on today (3rd of Dec) but mostly because I have been so busy and no time to paint my nails. I will be painting them tonight. I don't think it's a favorite of the year for me but a good one.

All of those are great choices! I love all the BKL, I don't think I have The Man in Red as it's not ringing any bells but the other two are "YES, YES"! I think I have Blaze from Zoya but it's been a while since I wore it and I don't have that Cirque but I know it. It's very sparkly! Perfect for NYE.

Not going to lie, I was surprised when I didn't see BKL holiday Cheermeister on your rack! But you do have a lot more beauties to focus on.

But in my defense, i usually can vaguely remember where I got a polish from... at least remember if it was purchased or gifted but sometimes I forget 100% and it's like it just appeared by magic. 😅 I don't have a lot of Atomics but most of the ones I have purchased have been pretty amazing, IMO. I feel like there has only been one that I was just meh about. I loved your video so much! You had so many cool varieties! This is why I think I was bored with my color selection while editing my video. True, they're the colors that called to me while I was pulling them for the rack but after seeing your selections it was just boring.. not the reds though, I could wear reds all month long and be happy, I think. I always forget to add the NYE polishes too but so glad I remembered this year.

What are the water based top coats you would recommend

I love the Apipila WBTC, it's been my favorite so far, I purchase mine usually through Little Box of Horrors (they have them there usually) or some monthly event. But I have also tried the Maniology one and it's ok, don't like the brush. I know there are others but I haven't tried them all.

ugh! How annoying! I rewatched parts of my videos at work and some of the greens came out teal looking. I hate when they don't get captured right. There is a lot of warmth to the reds but they're definitely not orange. I should have a control orange polish next time to put them next to each other and showcase the red better.. Thanks for the idea in a roundabout way!

Yep. The reds look straight up deep orange and the greens look teal-blue.

I know! 😭😭 I don't know how that happened as it looked completely normal on camera and while editing. I will have to see what the heck happened. I don't think it was my editing software that did it but I have to check.

I can totally relate and understand that weakness! It's like, do I need another white with such and such shimmer... NO. But do I still get it... YES! 🤤

Thank you! I love white polishes for the winter but I have done some white and gold Christmas nails in the past that I have really enjoyed and plan on doing again. I am so excited to wear the rat hole! It's so freaking pretty! Yes, i need to look up some Victorian era christmas inspo and see if I have something that can go with it.

I too wish I would have bought it the first time too. :/ I still enjoy HOH, when I had it on I loved it but that was before the Lemming and now, like with OPI Chopstix and Stones, I will always look at is as a little.. less than it used to be. You know? That Lemming ruined those polishes for me. 😂 I do have one from Dam that I havne't tired on yet but it's very similar vibes to HOH.

I'm glad you find that helpful! It really does make a difference in the long run. I mean, it's not meant to be used with acetone so it will still fray a lot quicker than regular brushes for clean up but I find that it helps.

That's actually a really great idea! I have an Essie, I think it's aruba blue, that I wear under this China Glaze "Dorothy Who?" because the CG is so sheer and I want' it to pop the way it does in the bottle. But not only that it makes me able to not use so much of the Dorothy Who since I don't think they make that one any more.

Also 26:05 yesss I can definitely see a difference! Three coats gives it more dimension and deepness, if that makes sense, and two coats is pretty just it’s a little bit dull compared to 3. Beautiful shade

Acetone Antidote is the name of the Baroness X one but other brands have the same thing under different names. Acetone additive is a moisturizing concoction of glycerin, oils, and scents that soothe and protects the skin from the super drying effect that pure acetone does to our skin. There are a couple of other brands that have some for sale right now. I'll send you links. Also the bottle I showed in the video is actually a smaller version, they come in bigger bottle now, but I like that small bottle because it's the exact amount I need for my 8oz acetone bottle. I just pour the bigger bottle into the smaller bottle to help me "measure"

Yay! I am so glad. I felt, while editing, that I was just all over the place! I need to do a better job with that. Oh and yes! You have to make sure it's the white one, there's a yellow balm one that is like the stick but in the tub and it's good but I like the one in the video way better.

I am so glad you enjoyed and it helped in whatever way. 🥰 Honestly it depends on the manicure the magnetics, flakes and reflective glitter polishes tend to take me a little longer since I like to wait longer in between coats. Also, I am never not doing something else when I paint my nails (sometimes I'm editing a video in between coats, watching a show/movie, or listening to a podcast/audiobook) so sometimes that distracts me in between coats and it takes me longer to do my nails but if I were just to sit and do my nails without clean up.. I would say maybe 10-15 minutes... Maybe. You know I have never timed myself, especially because like I said I am usually doing things in between layers. For a creme or shimmer I usually just paint my nails and go to the other hand and paint that then go back to the first hand real quick. It's the polishes that have a little bit more stuff to them that I like to wait a min or two if need be. Adding clean up, it takes me a bit longer but I don't do clean up every time I paint my nails. I usually do the clean up maybe once a week or twice a week and I pain my nails generally every 2-3 days.

Yay! I am so glad that you enjoyed it. Yeah, I can't with those tiny nail brushes... I mean I can but it's more work for me. 😅 The different base coats really helps, especially if you're like me and don't want to wear a base polish. I don't know why I'm so against that sometimes but I get a , as they say, hair up my butt that makes me NOT want to find a matching base polish and just use the colored base coats to help me out. Though because I don't always love sheer you can still see some sheerness with the colored base coats... if that's a deal breaker for you.

I have Stolen Flame and while the color is similar the finish is not. I love the shimmer finish of All I Really Want, although I haven't worn SF yet, I think I will like it since I like flakes too. I don't have the FG so I can't compare.

I’ve contacted makers before about polishes I’d like a back up of - you might email lemming lacquer and ask if she has overpours. It’s worked for me before!

YES! OPI It's A Piazza Cake is the pinnacle of fall polish, IMO. 🤣 Thank you! It's actually from What's Up Nails Go for Gild! I have been loving that What's Up Nails stamping polishes! The gold and silver are my favorite tones of their respective colors. I have other gold polishes but I really like the tone of this one. I also LOVE Roses are Gold too! I am going to get their black stamping polish since I can't find mine anywhere.... 😑
