This is Freddie’s gospel song with Aretha Franklin in mind he loved Aretha.

I’m 54 and been a Queen fan since I was 11. And I love watching people discover the magic of this group! Great reaction, it brought a smile to my face this morning! 💛💛💛💛

This was Freddie’s favorite song and his homage to the greatly missed Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin whom he greatly admired. Only three songs were played at his private funeral - her Precious Lord Take My Hand accompanied the entrance of his casket. Besides the studio version, there are several recorded live ones, but this one best exemplifies the gospel/R&B influence. BTW, please adjust your mic, it’s picking up a lot of outside noise.

personally, as a long long time favorite of my favorite singer of all time, that being Karen Carpenter, I can IMMEDIATELY notice the difference between the two, it's very distinct to me. Tori has a pretty voice, but sounds almost like a cabaret piano at a bar voice, not to be disparaging of that, it just is to me. Karen Is KAREN for a reason....

This is a much older Elton we are now looking at, later in his career. This is from his 1989 album "Sleeping With The Past", which is a beautiful album, and this is a particularly beautiful song from that album. Nice job getting this recommendation!

A beautiful program Ephraim. You always get me right in the heart with your Elton John reactions-they are truly things of beauty! Saw you did "Sacrifice" also! Another beautiful tune I will go check out. Also, thank you for "Ghetto Gospel" by Tupac Shakur. That was an amazing program, though I did see someone say they have a better version of that track to react to. Hopefully they will suggest that one.

I dedicate this song to my late mother, probably the most important musical influence on my life. It was she that bought this album & it was the first time ever I had heard Elton John. I fell in love with his music immediately! This back in 1972; I was 13 years old then.

I can kind of understand how someone might like this remix if they have never heard the original. The original Ghetto Gospel is such a beautiful track. They absolutely butchered it with this remake. They removed half of 2pac's verses and slowed his vocals down so much that they distorted them. The original is a much faster tempo with a much stronger message. What Eminem did to this song for this remix should be a crime. I highly, highly suggest you check out the original, and throw this one into the dumpster where it belongs.

A beautiful reaction to a beautiful song! I am really getting to love your strong emotional connection with these powerful songs you've been reacting to. I'm telling you these programs are the greatest spiritual therapy for me. They really bring me back emotionally and spiritually to the source of all that is. I thank you for this, Ephraim.
