I disagree on the cultural point you made. In a fictional world, we can as story tellers take as much or as little inspiration from a real world culture as wanted. To counter this I would ask if you have a problem with darker skinned individuals playing characters in the rings of power tv show? Considering that culturally Tolkien based middle earth and its struggles on a WW2 era Europe. I personally am happy with both Genshin and the rings of power. There are decisions regarding skin colour that have been made, but ultimately whatever happens, they are absolutely still just fictional worlds with no need to represent any culture to any degree, as long as the story and plot are good and do not insult a specific culture, they can do as much or as little as they want when it comes to taking inspiration from a culture in the real world.

The story event is built on the fact that you have at least finished chapter 3 so it's not that hard to achieve. If you want to quickly catch up then I recommend skipping all of the story and speed through the main story to unlock all the farming stage then you can rewatch the story at a later date. I would also recommend for the moment that you focus on building one team because early game elemental weakness doesn't really matter and resources are hard to come by so spreading it to everyone is not very good. Ultimately the game is very chill so just enjoy it the way you like.
