For a short line they really put on a good gala here. Another fantastic couple of days out for me. Good you went on the Friday for it, Saturday was a lot colder and rainy for those waiting lineside. Enjoyed seeing what you got of it.

Good to see you made it to the last location from that very wet bridge we were at. I was just too late getting into the station to see Leander, it was worth a try though. The black 5 departure was a disaster for some with them letting the Cross Country service out at the same time. I had made a dash to the other side when I heard the announcement. Not a great view but better than nothing

@@oliverbrooke6930 I had a feeling something like that would happen. They put an empty 185 unit in first which got in the way of the reversing black 5, as that left I heard the cross country was coming in and figured they would run that out beside the steam.
