In den Fünfziger Jahren hat Zagato auf Basis des 1900er zwei Spider gebaut. Davon ist einer spurlos verschwunden. Der zweite befindet sich seit knapp 50 Jahren in einer Hand. Von diesem Auto sind drei Nachbauten bekannt, wovon ich wiederum einen besitze. Mein 1900 ist wohl der einzige der zuverlässig läuft und regelmäßig bewegt (kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGOYppKVarukpLMsi=vpl3UeMgiLO7iQUW) wird, nachdem wir die gesamte Technik revidiert haben. Nicht angerührt haben wir den Lack; das Fahrzeug hat eine überaus charmante Patina. Der zweite der Art steht in Belgien und wird als Restaurationsobjekt für 195.000,- angeboten. Der dritte ist in Deutschland; Concours Zustand - soll aber technische Probleme haben und wurde vor etwa fünf Jahren für 295.000,- verkauft. So viel in Kurzform.

AM General have been very quiet about this vehicle, they even ignore questions about it on their social media. If it's all they imply it is, then it should be great lightweight armored 4x4 and I wouldn't mind having one for our armed forces. Perhaps they are not bragging about it anymore due to more lucrative(supposedly) Jltv A2?

A major disadvantage of such truck chassis howitzers is limited mobility due to the lack of a tracked chassis. That's why self-propelled tracked howitzers like the Polish AHS Krab are better that can't get stuck in the mud so easily.
