I love the W-218h. It’s my favorite watch. Lightweight, sporty, classic design, nice display (legible from all angles), perfect size. I already have the black and the white one, will buy the other colors too.

So 3 years on with Trendhim Quality Control nothing has changed!! My only recent dealing with them was the most negative retail experience ever, so I advise everyone to not buy anything from this shoddy company. I like very much your comment here comparing it with TK Maxx, not too dissimilar to Aliexpress and Temubut far, far worse!!

I have owned animal watches from the mid 90s on! I still have 3 of them they just keep going. They are not my daily wear anymore, but bring one out if I am feeling a bit 'funky'. Not sure what year this one is, but I would say early 2000s with the fixed pins, this was a later thing and made them even tougher! I have a Zepher with cast pins. I don't think there is anything made with the same function and style anywhere near the 'price point' that their watches were. They were great when adventure cycling and hillwalking!

Cronos, or Sugess. Better than any of those options for the dollar.

Got mine today, the blue one, and I have to say that there's no video that can make justice to the sheer beauty of this piece. The lume is a real party and the watch overall so sleek. They have fixed the wristband. The clasp has now the holes in the right position and there are no extra drillings. The titanium band's edges are sharper than accustomed but i ended up liking it. The 39mm body sits like a feather on my wrist. The bezel has a little play but I can live with that because the smoothness and the sound of the operation make it up for me. The titanium is appallingly fragile though. A little slip of any tool while adjusting the bracelet and you're done. Adding and removing links is a breeze thanks to the screwable rods, they should become the industry standard. There's no way I'm wearing this one for a field trip or sports session, because it would take a little to scratch it, I'm even concerned about sand. This is my first titanium so I don't know yet whether to blame the bezel's play and the fragility of the metal on Seestern or titanium itself. I'm happy with the purchase and time will tell whether the watch was reliable or no, oh the irony.

I have a gifted Brotish smock coat in that same desert pattern, never really been a fan of the colours so knowing that dying it isnt actually a bonkers idea is nice. Whether I also dye my tropentarn (german desert), I'm not sure about since its pretty rare now.

My seat is quite frayed as well. The foam at that edge is not so happy either. This is a job i have been avoiding, fear of the unknown. I had thought I could swap passenger for drivers side as it gets a lot less use. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Interesting watching this. In 5 years the fakes have come so much closer to the real. While these are pretty easy to tell, with super clones, they are so close.

Bought the polished case I’m going to powder coat it matte black with a black dial / green Lume. Black on black nato strap. Can’t wait to see how it looks. Couldn’t find an original ST 36 movement so went with an Amazon knock off. Hopefully it all works out. Thanks for the review.

I thought you're not supposed to use the PRV to reduce system pressure? I've been told that turning them messes up their calibration?
