Dayum Jodie. So sorry for those $h1tty parts in the beginning. But so glad I signed up for a workshop and the monthly membership. Have totally enjoyed getting to hang with you and the other members!! Here’s to 2025 and whatever that brings our way. We will walk thru it no matter what!! I need 24 in the rear view mirror myself! It was crap! Hugs and will see you in the new year for sure. ❤🎉

Ohhh crap, I can so relate to this conversation. Creating beauty soothes me. Maybe that’s why I painted flowers for years. Stepping outside of that scares me but at the same time, feels so necessary. I can so relate to what Margie was saying about getting lost in the moment of simply creating. I have made so much vomit using a gel plate! But it is so freeing and fun. My ongoing spiritual work has helped my creative process tremendously and I am so grateful for soul centered artists like both of you to help guide me through the mess. ❤

Hi Jodi! I just hung my group show and made one additional mistake you haven't mentioned. When using the hangars, make sure the bottom of the hanger is at the hanging mark (in your example 11 inches). So, the bottom of the hanger would be at 11 inches. If you use the mark where the top of the hanger is, then you'll be off by the length of your hangar (maybe an inch or so, but it can make a difference, especially when you're hanging a grouping). If what I'm saying is inaccurate, please feel free to correct me. Also, thanks so much for your wonderful videos and podcast. I always learn something valuable. Happy holidays!

Thanks Jodie for the instructions. It drives me crazy seeing paintings hung too high. I have just eye balled it in the past so I appreciate the 60” on centre rule! It is my experience to make the wire a bit longer than what Jodie has used especially if it is heavy or if it is framed with glass. Also, braided wire vinyl coated will be appreciated by your client as it avoids scratch marks on the wall. This may be on the PDF but if not it is just tips I am passing on.

Wow i love it, i learned how to wire my paintings just recently and wasn't sure about how to hang them, and if my technique was ok. Very instructive!

Great video, Jodie King. Looking forward to your next upload! I hit that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on the importance of values in art are truly enlightening. How do you think varying the values can affect the emotional response of the viewer in abstract versus representational art?

SO GLAD I found you! I really needed this content thank you. At 51, I'm finally trying to do my own art business and get the most kind and enthusiastic remarks about my work at shows. I let that lift me up during shows but somehow ALWAYS deflate myself back into I just need to work for someone else and give up.
