Thanks for posting. I have been playing for three years and learned a variation of this but have struggled with the intro. I think I can fix that from your video. I also need to do something other than strumming the chords. I know theres a bit of a picking pattern. I appreciate you posting this.

I can’t believe someone asked for the tab. It’s on the screen 😂😂. Anyway. Thank you. Everyone teaching confuses this with showing all the variations and endless babbling for a half hour. You did neither. One version, straight through, with tab that I can start and stop while learning and best of all no talking. Outstanding lesson! Thankyou.

0:36 At the time of this interview, Cynthia hadn’t yet decided to tell the whole story, so she opted to lie that the separation wasn’t acrimonious. Later in her life, she published her second book and there she explains everything. John sent a messenger to Italy, where Cynthia was spending holidays with her mom to tell her he was sueing her for divorce on the basis of adultery. The adultery never happened on her part, of course it had happened multiple times on John’s part, including with Yoko. But he was too coward to simply leave as the villain and too narcissistic to care enough for Cynthia and his son (!) to grant them a fair deal. He refused to have any conversation with Cynthia about the divorce, leaving the matter to the lawyers. Eventually, he backed out of the cheating allegations against her and settled on a 100,000 pounds deal plus a small monthly payment that wasn’t nearly enough to cover their expenses. Lennon’s worth at the time was close to 10 million pounds.

I do not like this interviewer, John Stapleton who is constantly trying to bait Cynthia Lennon and asked disrespectful questions. Cynthia Lennon on the other hand is the portrait of strength and resilience. She is no fool and won’t be lead into a discussion by Stapleton. Deepest respect for this lovely woman.
@31Alden3 ай бұрын
Such a lovely, soft-spoken and articulate woman who raised a wonderful son with no input from John Lennon whatsoever who was too busy wrapped up in himself, drugs and eventually Yoko Ono (Oh-No). She was better off without him and so was Julian.
@hejla45243 ай бұрын
She was there when the Beatles were a little known local group - would have been interesting to hear more about that than the usual Beatlemania stuff.
@PerAllwin19633 ай бұрын
John was attracted by the bizarre and the loony, that’s why he hooked up with Yoko Ono.
I was doing it on another position but this one seems better. Thanks. I'm afraid to bend the string that much so I switch to next fret half way through the bend 😄
@oliverelmes793 ай бұрын
Ha! Changing the string half way through a bend must sound interesting! Might be worth experimenting with some different gauge strings. Lighter would obviously be easier but more likely to break.

Pablo Picasso was a crappy father. Willem de Kooning was a crappy father. Many artists were. The women who choose them also join in that choice. Cynthia's best friend saw it plainly. John "wasn't her type". How did Cynthia think it would turn out? Love is blind. They've been saying it for centuries. They might be on to something.
