My initial nose was strong campfire/charcoal. More so than I’d expect from a repo, and I didn’t really like it. The flavor is better

Michael Jordan claiming he has the finest tequila would be like Pancho Villa saying he made the finest soul food in the world. It's a grand marketing scheme; many will buy it just because he said so. What next, he will produce the finest Mexican food in the world? heeeheeeee. It never ends. Drink up, ladies and gentlemen; it's the finest.

This was my gateway into really enjoying spirits, and is still a surprising "wow" when I sip it after not having had it for awhile. I finally figured out the finish that I detect is carrots: fresh organic carrots, which are highly floral. People talk a lot about the sweet flavors but the thing that does it for me is that there's also a surprising "fresh and green" flavor at the end.

I have it in my hand right now. The bottle is by far the best and also has the best marketing. Other than that, I'm not impressed and won't be buying it again. It is very clean, sure, but I've had better, and especially have had a better buzz from multiple other brands of vodka.. The buzz is very "mid" and doesn't fully hit the GABA receptors for a more euphoric feel. I haven't drank in awhile, so my tolerance should be fresh, but Khor isn't hitting. I'd give it a 7.5 or 8 out of 10, which doesn't live up to the hype.

We were given a couple bottles of this and I'm used to regular tequila. Why does this taste like band aids to me?

I found a bottle of Fortaleza Reposado in Pasadena, CA where I’m from. It’s difficult to find in Southern California as well today. I found it at a Mexican supermarket and it was the only bottle in stock at the time, and the store employees were pretty bummed when I grabbed it out from underneath them. 😆😆😆. I was very impressed, and I’m trying other additive free brands to see if I can find something that’s as good as Fortaleza. So far I haven’t found what I’m looking for. Another cool fun fact I found out about this brand is that it’s original name is Los Abuelos, which is still carried in Mexico today. But when it came to the USA there was a copyright issue with a Rum brand from Panama that owned the rights to the name Abuelo. So for the US market they used the name Fortaleza , which is the original name of the Sauza family distillery. But if you remove the label from the bottle you will see the Los Abuelos name etched out in the glass. But it’s the exact same juice.

ive tried tradicional anejo. and hornitos black anejo. both were really good. then i bought a bottle of this. i just had a sip. honest to god, do you remember that big gym rope you had to climb in grade school? a huge thick hemp rope.....well imagine that running across the back of your tongue. thats what this tequila felt like.

Better than some but not really good in my opinion theres better tequilas out there. This will give you a bad hangover should be sold cheaper.
