Love these videos and sometimes "watch" while doing other things. When I glanced at 7:57 I thought LeeAnn's shirt was part of the design.

We were so intrigued by your post, Vol Vacations, that we went back and looked at the show! You are absolutely right - Leanne's blouse does look like it is part of the floral design and that protea blends in perfectly with it. It made us laugh indeed. Thank you for spending time with us to listen, learn, and watch Leanne in action. We're so glad you join us whenever you can, and we hope that you will continue to visit with us as often as possible. Wishing you a beautiful and peaceful week in all that you do and hope it goes really well for you!

Hi! Kris here!! Just an hour late or so but glad to watch after the fact at least. I am loving the rain! Around the rest of the US they probably don't realize how dry we are here in the PNW in the summer. We are just thrilled to get a little rain to wash off the trees finally. 🌷🌷🌷

Hello Kristine! We're very glad to see you at any time during the day and it's a pleasure to host you here on Live on replay. You are absolutely right about how dry it gets in the PNW during the summer and we did have some hot days this year. The rain is a welcome change to water out trees and plants, and freshen the air again. Hope you enjoyed today's show and thanks so much for visiting with us again. All the best to you and hope your week is a stellar one!

Anyone can advice about care for a galax plant? Mine lives, but the leaves turned reddish and are very small. I understand it likes acidic soil and some humidity? I am in zone 9.
@FlowerSchool2 күн бұрын
This is an excellent question, Heidi, and we wish we could help with it! Sadly, we don't grow galax plants; rather we buy the leaves in bulk from the floral wholesaler so we can't offer advice on how to fix the issue. Humidity makes sense based on what Leanne shared in this video in terms of keeping the leaves fresh. It would probably be best to turn to a garden store (or maybe a houseplant store) to see what advice they can offer. Carrying the plant into the store might help as well so they can see what's going on, and perhaps they can offer advice on type of soil, fertilizer, and watering schedule. Thank you for taking time to watch our Tulip Tuesday Tip and for being such a splendid Tulip. We hope you have a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing you on Live this week. All the best to you and please take care!

Which one is considered the most white Eskimo or Mount Everest ?
@FlowerSchool5 күн бұрын
That's an excellent question, and a bit difficult to answer, The Prince! Both roses are very close to pure white. One may have a slightly pink undertone while the other has a slightly yellow undertone. It really becomes a matter of personal preference and what the other colors will be (if any). Thank you very much for taking the time to see our white rose review. If you prefer one over the other, please let us know which you like best and why. Wishing you a beautiful week and hope it all goes well for you!

We don't use either rose very often, but in looking at them via photos, Eskimo appears to have a very slight yellow undertone.

Oh my! This is calling my name! What an Autumn-beckoning, rich design. Teacher Leanne pulls this design together in a bit of a playful way with those wandering bittersweet vines yet she establishes a sense of weight in the base with the oak leaves, rose hips, protea and those gorgeous chrysanthemums. More color and texture is added with the echinacea and rudbeckia! The final touch - the bleached ruscus - unifies the candle color for a luxurious design! Thank you, Chere 🌷

We couldn't have described this better ourselves, Chere! You did a beautiful job of explaining exactly what takes place in this video while Leanne creates this amazing autumn floral hurricane arrangement. We do love the wandering bittersweet vines mixed with the oak leaves and rose hips. Those materials give it the real feel of fall as does the addition of chrysanthemums, echinacea, and rudbeckia. Thank you very much for dropping by to see another Saturday Showcase show. Finding these gems is so rewarding as is sharing them with you each week. All the best to you and hope it is a lovely Sunday for you!

Tropical flowers in a bouquet, AK! That's the best of all. Leanne used three key tropical flowers - anthurium, parakeet heliconia and beehive ginger - and then she accented them with hala, fatsia, aspidistra, and lily foliage. The colors are rich and vibrant and the textures are marvelous. Thank you for taking the time to see this lovely hand-tied arrangement.
