The line should always come off the front of the spade,and not off the back,if you use saliva before you pull the line tight you can tie 22 sized hooks.. I do, just don't wrap as many times as the demo shows..

these fishing videos could use an editor. I guess only a true affectionado would want to watch endless shots of someone casting in a non pristine environment. My dad would practice casting in the back yard for accuracy but he wouldn't film it for everyone to watch

It's too late for me to practice casting. I had two surgeries on my right hand, they put it back together piece by piece. My hand doesn't work well now, sometimes I'm afraid the rod will fly into the river.

Well you never said catching a fish, so. 😂. By your rod (and especially reel handle) I assume you like swim baits. I’ll bet that color is effective for walleye in murky waters. Or smallmouth in certain situations. They LOVE pink and purple, so why not try it?
