Worked at an indie record store at this time. Bought a few of their releases. Could not get friends into it. Name problem and sounds being done by bands with better PR?

Saw them in a chinese restaraunt in NYC. Some bands are just so much better live. Their studio stuff is good. But their sound when live was amazing. Much more popwerful

Every night I wake up 3 or 4 times And walk in circles just to clear my head All along the lines I've been double-crossed Across the lines I've been double-crossed All of my creations have been purged It's the first rule of profits and it hurts Everything is fine I don't know what's to re-kiss Divided the numbers Only one thing counts I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower Every year I wake up a thousand times And walk in circles just to ease the strain Everything is fine I don't know what's to re-kiss Everything is fine I don't know what's to re-kiss I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom I kiss the flower in bloom

The fence is long and high where we love You can't see the other side where they live I've spied with my little eye And I've sighed with my little sigh But it seems I've give all that I can give Every hour I have to count to ten And a thousand times I've thought again But it seems I've given all that I can give Is there anyone there Here is the fence that they built {Over there} This is the fence that hate built Is anyone there {Over there} This is the fence that turns one into two I want to break through but I'm though if I do I've tried with my little try And I've cried with my little cry But it seems that the gate holds the only clue Every hour I have to count to ten And a thousand times I've though again But it seems I've given all that I can give Is there anyone there Here is the fence that they built {Over there} This is the fence that hate built Is anyone there {Over there} Every hour I have to count to ten And a thousand times I've thought again Is there anyone there Here is the fence that they built {Over there} This is the fence that hate built Is anyone there {Over there} Is there anyone there Here is the fence that they built {Over there} This is the fence that hate built Is anyone there {Over there} But it seems I've give all that I can give Is there anyone there Here is the fence that they built {Over there} This is the fence that hate built Is anyone there {Over there}

Seen a good amount of 'britpop' bands during the 90's and these were the most underrated. Seen them in Newcastle in 2019 and fantastic. Thanks for the memories Sleeper, past and present and hope to see you in 2020. Great new album too. God bless Britpop - most underrated period in British music.
