I got to go to my first Hobby Lobby two weeks ago while visiting the mainland (I was born in Hawaii) You guys are super lucky to have that store! I wish I had brought another suitcase! 😉

I remember you saying you had twin granddaughters that went to college on the mainland. You could go online and pick what you want and have them go to the store and get it for you. They’d probably have to mail it to you because I don’t think Hobby Lobby ships to Hawaii or Alaska. Just the main 48 Thanks for watching!

@@tinavance good memory you have! I did look up Hobby Lobby if they have an online store… and they do! Now I have to see if they send to Hawaii! My granddaughters sadly are without a car. Their first year at BYU in Provo….maybe next year I’ll help them get a car. 😉

I was looking for another pack of the smores but they’re all gone! Our store is pretty picked over! The cashier said they’ve got to start pushing the Fall out. Probably to bring all the Christmas forward to start bringing out the Valentine’s and the Spring Shop out soon!

I am almost 60. I love the cute gingerbread people and put them in my white and silver kitchen. They look very cute and make it feel like a warm Christmas village. I also put my Hallmark Christmas village decor on the kitchen ledge and fireplace. I am sad that I had to take the 6 foot Christmas tree out of our decor for this year. I had two knee replacements last year and my husband almost died in January. We are only decorating with small trees because it is too much for us now. However, we can put a large screen saver on the tv with holiday music to make our family room look festive for our adult children and friends. I am thankful that my wonderful husband is still with me and the family and that I can still walk.

Born and raised in Hawaii which really doesn’t have much in the way of craft stores…but I recently went to the mainland to help take my twin granddaughters to college and went to my first Hobby Lobby! Oh how lucky you guys are to have that store! Loved it!

im 60, an interior designer, have owned 7homes now, and currently live in a Victorian inspired single level fairly newly built, 3300sqft house, nestled amongst towering fir trees in the Pacific Northwest>cascade mountain range….anyway, I love decorating, BUT the gingerbread thing? NOPE, I just don’t get it it doesn’t look visually appealing to me whatsoever….BUT to each their own.

I been going to Hobby Lobby weekly , this year , I'm mostly buying some smaller items and that's about it . They smell like leather but not overpowering. About a month or so but you can refreshen them when the scent is wearing off by placing some of the oil in a small spray bottle to spritz them. Thanks for watching!

@@alixander9401 The leather is Veg Tan. I bought it from Amazon. I used cookie cutters and silicon molds shaped like Texas and the other ones in the video. You can buy them from Amazon also in a pack or separately. I just traced them on the leather and cut them out. I just use scissors. I punched a hole in the top. I can’t make a video because I got rid of them. I used to make car freshies with the aroma beads but no longer do. Thanks for watching!

The funny thing is when I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday I was on another isle and I heard this little girl probably elementary school age tell her mom it’s not even Fall yet! It made me smile like even little kids know it’s too early! But if you don’t get it when you see it then you won’t get what you want! As early as the stores put out holiday merchandise and then when it does finally get here I’m already ready for it to be over with because anymore Christmas is too commercial and not celebrated for what it’s intended for!

@@tinavance I am trying to take a little page out of your book, as I grow older I try to prepare early for seasonal changes and holidays but I'm not very good at it yet. I couldn't agree more with you about Christmas, in myh house with myh twin daughters being 4 I've been striving yo sort of adapt a more pegan inspired celebration and honor the season and plus they have really great ways to celebrate yule time (and every season for that matter) I think America collectively/a big portion of humanity here is working away from commercialized type stuff and finding/carving old/new paths for holidays. I realized last year social media has an algorithm in place for Halloween Christmas and all holidays to not push holiday videos I was thinking the year before last what the heck is nobody celebrating and then when she holiday is over videos from 2 and 3 weeks ago start popping up everywhere full of holiday spirit! I noticed the same thing last year, so getting a jump on things is a good idea, I just still think it's nutty that the stores put stuff on the shelves AS early as they do lol. It'd be nice, atleast I think, to be mote naturally intune with earths and holidays and all that energy changes as they are coming and come and pass!
