Not spoiled when youre racing the national series. if your competitive you will do everything you can to win. if i was a mediocre racer i would have a mediocre quad.

Traded my 2003 blaster 200 for a raptor 250 runs great and is super fast but bushings are a little messed up, plastics are pretty faded and handlebar is bent a tad which tells you that it’s been flipped maybe once or twice. Looking for any good company’s that dip plastics and any suggestions for upgrades

Great job with that build! That thing is absolutely beautiful. Just wondering if you do any National tt racing like ne edt or mwedt, or if you just recently just wondering about the class status, if it’s only an open class machine or do they allow it in the pro, and in other classes?

My dad traded his banshee for a 250 raptor, so I could ride with him. Now that I grew out of the 250, I wish he would have kept the banshee😪

I really lost touch to carburate my 250 smoker but its easy to get it back, just need to know with is the throttle cable and which is the air screw. It always needs just small tweaks to the air screw, 1/4 turns usually solve any problem.

They paid 4k for so obviously they made there money back but it’s a kid it’s not like he can rip a 700r or a banshee as well as he can a 250r my 350r I spent 2k fully modded it fun cheap amazing machines

Still a fun decent size machine for a kid you wont give him a fully modded 700 or banshee when he wont be able to handle the power not saying he is not capable but still a 250 is a good starting point for him

The reason for selecting certain size quads and motors is so you can race in a desired class. In this situation my kids can race in the 250 kids class. Mods are allowed as long as we don't increase displacement. Mods are necessary to compete with all the other modded out 250s. We are never looking for a financial return on investment when it comes to racing. We invest in the bike for more fun!

If you have the choke engaged, you shouldn't twist the throttle. the choke in this carb is really an enricher that bypasses the normal fuel flow path in the carburetor. opening the throttle negates the benefit of the choke.

Where are you from? We tried to go to the Buffalo, MO track last year but each time we arrived, they cancelled it last minute. Haven't seen much this year for event schedules.
